Hilti TE-YX/SX FS Floor Scraper Operating Instructions
Assembly Instructions
The following steps detail the assembly and preparation of the Hilti TE-YX/SX FS floor scraper.
- Step 1: Secure the scraper blade in a vise using a 19 mm hex socket.
- Step 2: Attach the scraper blade to the shaft. Loosely attach four screws using a 19 mm hex socket and a wrench.
- Step 3: Assemble the scraper head. This involves layering the scraper blades and hold-down plates, secured by nuts and bolts. Follow the indicated order for assembly.
- Step 4: Prepare the components. Clean the parts with brake cleaner and lubricate with oil as shown.
- Step 5: Final assembly and tightening. Ensure all parts are correctly oriented. Tighten screws and nuts according to the specified torque values: I: 80 Nm for steps 1, 2, 3, 4 and II: 115 Nm for steps 1, 2, 3, 4.
