Autel MaxiIM KM100 Quick Reference Guide

Autel MaxiIM KM100 Device Features

The KM100 device includes the following components:

VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) Device - MaxiVCI V200

The MaxiVCI V200 is the vehicle communication interface for the KM100.

Getting Started

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Lock/Power button on the KM100 to power on the tool.
  2. Visit Website: Scan the QR code provided to visit the Autel website (www.autel.com). Create an Autel ID and register the tool using its serial number and password.
  3. Connect to Vehicle: Insert the vehicle's DLC into the MaxiVCI V200's Vehicle Data Connector. The DLC is typically located under the vehicle's dashboard.
  4. Establish Communication: Turn the vehicle ignition to the ON position. Pair the KM100 with the MaxiVCI V200 via Bluetooth or connect using the supplied USB cable to establish a communication link.
  5. Update Software: Ensure the KM100 and MaxiVCI V200 are updated with the latest software and firmware versions. Connect the KM100 to the internet and ensure it is fully charged or connected to a power adapter for updates.

To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 0mm separation distance between the user’s body and the edge of the device.

This device meets the government’s requirements for Canada radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the device kept 0mm from the body. To maintain compliance with ISED RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain an 0mm separation distance between the user's body and the back of the device. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with ISED RF exposure requirements, and should be avoided.
