8. Application Scenario

  • Outdoor:
    • Car equipment: car fridge, car vacuum cleaner, and other car accessories.
    • Camping equipment: garden electric tools (e.g., blowers, lawn mowers, electric drills, electric saws), BBQ grills, LED lights, etc.
  • Indoor:
    • Refrigerator, kitchen devices (e.g., kettle, toaster, blender, coffee maker, rice cooker), laptops, phones, lighting, etc.

9. Examples of Loads

The 12V/25A, 12V/3A, cigarette lighter port, USB, and Type-C output ports are suitable for most products on the market. However, some products may trigger overcurrent protection if they have a large current impact at the moment of starting.

The power of electrical products used for AC output should be less than 2000W. For different electrical products, even if the rated power is less than 2000W, some air conditioners, motors, and other devices that require high instantaneous current during startup may trigger overcurrent if the ratio of peak value to rated current exceeds 3:1. In such cases, it is recommended to select electrical appliances with a lower power rate.

If the output is overloaded, over-current, or short-circuited, the product will turn off the corresponding output and attempt to restart twice (at 20-second intervals). If an overload, over-current, or short-circuit alarm persists, the output will be locked and requires manual troubleshooting before restarting. If the output stops repeatedly after restarting, please stop using it immediately (after troubleshooting) or contact the seller or a maintenance agent.

When the battery power is discharged to 0%, both DC and AC outputs will automatically turn off. The DC and AC outputs can only be turned on again when the battery power is charged to more than 5%, which helps protect the battery and enhance its cycle life.

This machine supports charging and discharging simultaneously.

10. Estimation of Operating Time

The estimated operating times for various devices are as follows:

  • Smartphone (10WH): 7-8 hours
  • LED lamp (20WH): 75-85 hours
  • TV 35inch (75WH): 20-22 hours
  • Electric Tool (80WH): 19-20 hours
  • Fridge (90WH): 17-19 hours
  • Electric Cooker (200WH): 8-9 hours

The formula for calculating charging time is: 2000Wh × DOD × η ÷ (load W) = charging time (unit: h)

Note: DOD is the battery discharge depth, and η is the inverter efficiency. For this product, DOD=90% and η=88%.

15. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • What is the depth of discharge (DoD)?
To extend battery life, the portable power station has a DoD setting of 90%, meaning only 90% of the battery capacity can be discharged. This reserves 10% of the energy to avoid damage due to over-discharge.
  • Can it be charged and discharged at the same time?
Yes, it supports pass-through charging for both AC and DC loads. It is recommended to fully charge the AC200 at least once per month to extend battery life if performing simultaneous charging and discharging.
  • Can AC output charge a refrigerator, air conditioner, or electric drill?
Lower power devices can be charged. It is not recommended to use devices exceeding 1400W. The starting power of refrigerators, air conditioners, and electric drills is generally 5-7 times their nominal power, which can easily trigger AC overload.
  • Can two products be used in parallel?
    No.
  • Can I use third-party solar panels?
Yes, you can use any solar panels as long as they have MC4 connectors and, when wired together, the voltage is between 35V to 150V and the total power does not exceed 700W.
  • How do I know if my appliance will work with the product?
To determine appliance compatibility, calculate the continuous loads of each appliance you want to run simultaneously to ensure the total wattage is within the generator's capacity. You can find the wattage of an appliance on its manufacturer's information plate (usually stamped or printed on the appliance). Add all wattages of appliances to be run to determine if the total amount of watts is within the maximum continuous and surge watts.
  • Can I connect the product to my home circuit breaker box?
No, you cannot connect it to your home circuit breaker box.
