⚠️ WARNING: Each ice maker has an internal battery charger to ensure the battery is charged safely and correctly. It is recommended that the battery is charged by installing it into the ice maker first, then connecting the ice maker to the optional mains adapter or the car charger. The optional mains adapter or car charger CANNOT be connected directly to the battery, as this could damage the battery or cause fire. There is an optional battery charger, which is designed ONLY to charge the battery when it is not installed in the ice maker. Do not disassemble, impact, squeeze, crush, or throw or misuse the battery, do not dispose of in fire, any of which may result in short circuit and fire or explosion. If there is swelling and heating of the battery do not continue to use, it may result in fire or explosion, do not use the battery if it is wet or damp.

Battery Charging

All data below based on 15.6AH battery:

Diagrams illustrating battery charging methods. One method shows charging the battery while it is installed in the ice maker (in standby mode) using either a Wall outlet AC 100~240V (with an optional adapter, charging time approx. 8 hours) or a Car cigarette lighter DC 12/24V (when input voltage > 13.5V, charging time approx. 8 hours). Another method shows charging the battery separately using an optional Battery charger (12.6V/2A) connected to the DC charging port of the battery (charging time approx. 8 hours).

Note: When the ice maker is running, the power is mainly used for the compressor operation, and the charging is relatively slow. If you need to charge quickly, please charge the ice maker in the standby mode. The charging input power should be higher than the working power (about 65-75W) of the ice maker, or switch off the power button to put the ice maker into standby mode, otherwise the battery will gradually run out.

Discharging time (for reference only): When the battery is fully charged, the ice maker can be used continuously for 2.5 hours. When the battery is not in use, unplug or turn off the battery to prevent the battery from self-discharging.
