This machine should not be operated by anyone under the age of 18. · Do not use machine for anything other than its intended purpose. This machine should never be modified. · Make sure machine is plugged into a grounded outlet with appropriate electrical supply. Always make sure the wall outlet being used is properly grounded. · Take proper safety precautions when using this machine. · Do not touch moving parts. Keep body, hair, jewelry, clothing, etc. away from machine when in use. · Use only 3-prong grounded extension cords that meet or exceed the electrical rating. · Always switch POWER OFF on machine before unplugging from outlet. · Always use controls to operate. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE HOTDOG ROLLER MACHINE IF ANY PARTS ARE DAMAGED OR MISSING. ** ATTACHING GLASS COVER ** Skip to Operating Instructions if Hot Dog Roller DOES NOT have a glass cover. STEP 1: Locate and remove the pair of screws on the inner left and right sides of the roller base and set aside. STEP 2: Position the back glass mount onto the roller base. Reinsert the screws removed in STEP 1 and hand-tighten, as it may need to be adjusted. Repeat for the remaining 3 mounts. STEP 3: Insert one of the small side glass panels into both the front and back mounts on one side of the machine with the curved side of the glass facing the back (away from the controls). If needed, adjust mounts by sliding forward or backward until the glass is snug; tighten to secure. Repeat for the other side. STEP 4: Place the large curved glass shield into the back mounts pushing gently all the way down into the channel. Check to make sure the edges of the top and side glass pieces are flush. STEP 5: Place the stainless steel trim plate over the edge of the top glass, aligning the holes with the glass. STEP 6: Insert a bolt through the trim plate and glass, then secure with nut. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN, as this may crack the glass. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Before the first use, apply a small amount of vegetable oil onto the surface of the rollers. Press the Power Switch ON. The indicator light will glow when the machine has power and will turn off when the temperature has been reached. NOTE: The machine will become hot very quickly. STEP 2: Adjust the temperature controllers, FRONT and BACK. We recommend lower temperatures until you understand the cooking times. Place hot dogs between the rollers using tongs or other utensil. Do not use your hands. Adjust the WARMING temperature controller to the desired temperature. STEP 5: After approximately 15 minutes the hot dogs should be ready to eat. Cook times may vary depending on cooking temperature, thickness of the hot dogs, and starting temperature (frozen hot dogs may take longer). STEP 6: Remove the hot dogs and hot dog buns using tongs or other utensil. Do not use your hands. STEP 7: Press the Power Switch OFF. STEP 8: Unplug from wall outlet. Allow to cool completely before touching or cleaning. CLEANING & MAINTENANCE It is recommended that the hot dog roller be cleaned after each use. · Make sure the machine is turned OFF and it is unplugged. · Allow the machine to cool completely. · Do not immerse the cord, plug or any part of the machine in water or other liquid. · Wipe down rollers, removable drip tray, and bun warmer with a damp soft cloth. Do not submerge machine in water or spray water into the machine. · NEVER USE STEEL WOOL TO CLEAN THE MACHINE, THIS WILL SCRATCH THE SURFACES. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or chemicals on any part of the machine. · A food safe glass cleaner can be used to clean the glass. · After cleaning, dry with a soft cloth.
