Function Keys
- Home (?): Go back to the home screen;
- Return (↩️): Go back to previous screen;
- OK (✔️): Confirm action or inset cursor;
- Cursor Lock (?): Short press to lock the cursor, Press again to unlock it.
Important notice
- This remote is a universal remote controller. It's normal that a few keys might not be applicable to your device because of different codes by different manufacturers.
- This manual is a universal user manual. And there are 4 versions for this remote: Standard, Standard with Mic, Backlight, Backlight with Mic.
How to Use
Remove the back cover (on the Keyboard side) and insert 2 AAA batteries (??). Then plug the USB dongle into the USB port of your device. The remote will be paired with the device automatically. Test by moving the remote to see if the cursor is moving. If not, and the red LED indicator (?) is not flashing, press the Cursor Lock (?) button and try again. If still not working, try plugging the USB dongle into another USB port. If the red LED indicator (?) is flashing, see clause 2 in FAQs.
Backlight (Optional)
Press the [backlight-symbol] (✨) button to turn on/off backlight.
Microphone (Optional)
- Not all devices support the Microphone function. It will require an APP that supports voice input, like the Google app.
- Press the Mic Button (?) to enable or disable the Microphone. (While inputting voice, there is no need to press the Mic Button).
Attention
- Please make sure the batteries have enough power before inserting them into the remote.
- The remote is compatible with Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux OS which have a standard USB port. It is not compatible with Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, or some Samsung and Sony Smart TVs.
Wireless Keyboard
The keyboard has 38 keys as shown above.
- Backspace (⌫): Delete previous character
- CAPS: Will capitalize the typed characters
- ENTER: Confirm the operation
- SPACE: Spacebar
- ALT: Numeric Character Switch
IR Learning Instructions
- Step 1: Make sure the TV remote supports NEC protocol. Batteries are installed correctly and the red LED indicator (?) is flashing while pressing any buttons.
- Step 2: Point the head (Infrared emitter) of the air mouse remote and the TV remote to each other, and ensure the distance between them is less than 0.1 feet.
- Step 3: Press and hold the TV button (?) on the air mouse remote for 3-5 seconds. The red LED indicator (?) will flash very fast, then release the TV button. The red LED indicator (?) will become to flash slowly, indicating the air mouse remote has entered IR learning mode.
- Step 4: Press the POWER (?) button on the TV remote until the red LED indicator (?) on the air mouse remote stays lit.
- Step 5: Press the POWER (?) button or one of the 4 color buttons on the air mouse remote. The red LED indicator (?) will flash slowly again, signifying that learning has succeeded.
- Step 6: Press the TV button (?) on the air mouse remote to exit IR learning mode.
Notes:
1. Before exiting IR learning mode, you can continue to learn other functions from the TV remote (no more than 5 IR learning keys can be programmed to learn basic functions of the TV remote, which are the POWER (?) and 4 color buttons at the bottom of the air mouse. The following steps are an example of learning the POWER ON/OFF function from a TV remote to the Air Mouse remote (standard version). Note: The red TV button (?) is a function button used to switch between 2.4G and IR learning functions. It is used to enter or exit IR learning mode and cannot be programmed to learn from a TV remote.
FAQs
1. How to adjust sensitivity of the mouse cursor?
Home (?) + Volume Up (?➕): Move faster
Home (?) + Volume Down (?➖): Move Slower
2. How to pair the USB dongle with the device?
Firstly, make sure the batteries have enough power and are correctly inserted into the remote. Secondly, press OK (✔️) + TV (?) at the same time for 3 seconds. The red LED indicator (?) will flash fast. Then, insert the USB dongle into the USB port of the device. When the red LED indicator (?) stops flashing, pairing is successful.
3. Why do some function keys (like OK and Return) not work?
Firstly, check if the battery has enough power. If the red LED indicator (?) flashes slowly, it means the battery does not have enough power. Please replace the batteries. Secondly, check if the USB dongle is paired with the device. Thirdly, some keys might not work with certain devices due to different codes.
4. Why do I fail to learn from the TV remote?
Firstly, please check if the TV remote supports the NEC protocol. If yes, please follow the instructions at the back of this manual. Please note that only the POWER (?) and four color buttons at the bottom can be programmed.
5. Why does the cursor move very slow, or even disappear?
Please try: replacing batteries, re-plugging the USB dongle, and pressing OK (✔️) + TV (?) to re-pair.
6. How to type numeric characters?
Press the ALT button to type the top-right corner characters, press ALT again to switch back.
7. How to wake up the air mouse when it enters standby mode?
Press any key to wake up the air mouse.
8. Why does the backlight not work?
Firstly, make sure the battery has enough power. Secondly, press the Backlight (✨) button to turn on the backlight. Thirdly, if the remote is not used for a while, it will enter standby mode. Press any key, and the backlight will be turned on.
9. How to reset the air mouse to factory setting?
Press TV (?) + DEL at the same time for 3 seconds. The air mouse will be reset to factory setting.
10. Why does the cursor stop working suddenly?
Firstly, please check if the battery has enough power. Secondly, press the Cursor Lock (?) button to switch the cursor on.
