Safety Information
Warning ⚠️
To prevent damage or injury, read all warnings before use. Keep these warnings accessible.
- Do not disassemble or modify. Send defective units to an authorized service center.
- Keep dry. Do not handle with wet hands, immerse in water, or expose to rain.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Ensure ventilation and keep lighting/heat dissipation holes unobstructed. Do not use in flammable environments.
- Handle with care; this product uses a make-and-break device.
- Avoid touching hot parts.
- Turn off power and wear insulated gloves before installing/connecting accessories. Ensure the tube is cool and wear gloves when replacing the tube or modeling lamp to prevent burns.
- Do not flash directly towards naked eyes (especially babies) as it may cause visual impairment.
- Disconnect from power when not in use for extended periods.
Caution ⚠️
After 30 continuous full-power flashes, allow the unit to cool for approximately 3 minutes to prevent overheating.
- Do not use the modeling lamp for extended periods, as flammable accessories (e.g., softboxes) can burn. Limit use to 10 minutes, then cool for 1 minute.
- When using a snoot, limit modeling lamp use and flash frequency (max 6 times/minute) to prevent overheating and damage.
- Avoid sudden impacts, which can damage the flash tube and modeling lamp.

Power Connection
Connect the flash unit to an AC power source using the provided power cord. Turn on the power switch (3). The indicator lamp on the switch will illuminate, confirming power connection.
Modeling Lamp
Use the Modeling Lamp Button (6) to control the modeling lamp. When the modeling lamp indicator (11) is lit, the modeling lamp is on. If it's off, the modeling lamp is off.
The modeling lamp output controller (4) adjusts its brightness. The modeling lamp will automatically turn off after 2 hours of continuous use to prevent overheating when the user is not nearby.
⚠ Important: When using flammable accessories (like softboxes) with the flash unit, do not keep the modeling lamp on for extended periods. It is recommended to cool the unit down for one minute after 10 minutes of modeling lamp use.
Power Output Control
The Flash Output Controller (5) allows adjustment of flash power output, catering to various lighting needs. Power is adjustable from 5.0 to 10.0, displayed on the digital display (10). An "OF" display indicates the flash triggering function is off. The unit automatically discharges when flash output is adjusted from high to low.
Test Button
Press the Test Button (9) to fire the flash without taking a picture. This can also assist in adjusting flash brightness in conjunction with the Flash Output Controller (5).
Sync Triggering
The Sync Cord Jack (2) is a 6.35mm plug. Insert a camera sync cord here to fire the flash synchronously with the camera shutter.
[Image Description: A close-up of the sync cord jack on the flash unit.]
Slave Trigger Model
Three slave triggering modes are available, selected via the Slave Model Button (8):
- No optical control: The slave triggering indicator (13) is off. Slave triggering is disabled.
- One fire model: The slave triggering indicator (13) glows blue. The flash fires synchronously with one external flash. This mode allows the flash to act as an auxiliary light for creating lighting effects.
- Anti-preflash model: The slave triggering indicator (13) glows red. The flash detects two external flashes within 2 seconds and fires synchronously after the second flash. This mode is useful for TTL systems and cameras with a one-preflash firing system, acting as an auxiliary light.
Buzz Function
The Sound Button (7) controls the audible charge-complete indicator. When the Buzz Indicator (12) is on, the buzz function is active; when off, it is inactive. A "BI" sound confirms the flash is fully charged.
Memory Function
The device features a memory function for panel settings. It saves the settings made in the last 3 seconds. Upon next startup, the flash will revert to these saved settings.
Wireless Control Function
Using a compatible wireless power-control flash trigger, you can wirelessly control the flash's on/off, modeling lamp, buzzer, and adjust flash output level. Connect the trigger receiver to the Wireless Control Port (16) and configure settings on the trigger. You can also trigger the flash remotely by placing the transmitter's hotshoe onto the camera's hotshoe.
Tube Replacement
Procedure:
- Shut down the power and disconnect the power cord. Wear insulated gloves.
- Loosen the retaining wire on the flash tube.
- Gently pull out the old flash tube, holding it by its feet.
- Remove the feet casing from the old tube and attach it to the new tube.
