Installation Steps

Diagram Description
The diagram illustrates the mounting plate, junction box, various screws, wire nuts, and the fixture assembly. Key components are labeled with letters A through J:
- A: Mounting Plate
- B: Mounting Screws
- C: Ground Screw
- D: Wire Nut
- E: Wall Anchor
- F: Wood Screw
- G: Fixture Mounting Screws
- H: Fixture Assembly
- I: Bulb (not included)
- J: Glass Assembly
- Determine the location for the lamp. Using the mounting plate as a template, mark the location of the holes for the WALL ANCHOR (E).
- Drill the appropriate size holes for the WALL ANCHOR (E). The holes should be slightly smaller than the size of the anchors. Install the wall anchors into the hole.
- Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This fixture is designed to be mounted on a standard junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building. Screw in the WOOD SCREW (F) to the WALL ANCHOR (E).
- Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (generally green or bare copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO "HOT" WIRE! Failure to follow this could result in serious injury or death.
- Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting 1" below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seal the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
- Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires as in the previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. Failure to follow this could result in serious injury or death.
- Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (H) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the FIXTURE MOUNTING SCREWS (G).
- Screw the BULB (I) into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR MAX 10 WATT LED TYPE T8-3.5 LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
- Screw the GLASS ASSEMBLY (J) into the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (F) of the fixture.
- Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
