2 - Characteristics

Status LED:

• Red light on: Network anomaly.
• Flashing red light: Waiting for network for connection (slow blinking), connecting to the network (fast flash).
• Blue light on: The camera is working correctly.
• Blinking blue light: Awaiting manual Wi-Fi configuration, or currently connecting (faster blinking).

Reset Button: Press and hold for 5 seconds to reset the camera to initial values.

Micro SD card insertion: Supports Micro SD cards up to 128 GB for recording.

Speaker: Used to communicate from the App with those close to the camera.

Lens: 4mm lens with a 90° field of view, Full HD 1080p resolution.

IR Distance: Night visibility up to 10 meters.

3 - Installation

3.1 - Positioning

Fix the camera to the wall using the provided screws. Adjust the angle to the desired position and tighten the allen screw to lock it. Avoid installing the camera in backlight or excessive light conditions to prevent overexposed images.

4 - Configuration

4.1 - Power up the camera

1. Connect the power cable to the bipolar connector on the camera cable.
2. Connect the power supply to a wall socket.
3. Wait for the status LED to flash. You will hear spoken feedback: "Camera ON" and then "Camera setup".

4.2 - Install the App on the smartphone

Download and install the Vimar "VIEW Product" App from your reference App Store.

4.3 - First Access

• a- Existing Account: Open the App and log in with your MyVIMAR credentials.
• b- New Account: Create a new account by tapping the "Create a new account" link. Follow the on-screen instructions, enter your credentials, and proceed to step 4.4.

4.4 - Adding a camera

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and connection to your router. It is recommended to stay close to the router during this process.

Addition via QR Code:

1. Tap "Add device +" (1)
2. Select the model (46237.040A) (2)
3. Enable the next step and continue with the on-screen instructions (3)
4. Set up the Wi-Fi for the device (4) and continue to display the QR code.
5. Use the camera to scan the QR code displayed on your smartphone. Position the phone screen facing the camera at a distance of 15-20 cm from the lens.
6. After a few seconds, a tone will be emitted. Tap "Tone Emitted".

Wait for the connection to complete. The device will be successfully added and emit the spoken feedback "Online".

ATTENTION: To safeguard your data and security, if you intend to add the same camera via another account, you must first cancel the camera from the App where it is currently associated. If returning the product, it is also recommended to remove the SD card.

The camera is also compatible with the Smart Life application.

Operation Disclaimer for Wi-Fi Cameras

The Wi-Fi camera allows image viewing on the customer's smartphone and/or tablet via the Vimar VIEW Product application. Image viewing requires a home Wi-Fi network with Internet access with the following characteristics:

• Standard: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz)
• Frequency range: 2412-2472 MHz
• Transmitted RF power: <100mW (20dBm)

Operating modes:

• Networks: WEP, WPA, and WPA2.
• Encryption protocols TKIP and AES are supported for WPA and WPA2 networks.
• "Hidden" networks (hidden SSID) are not supported.

To use the service, the customer must have technical equipment for Internet connection and sign an agreement with an ISP. Vimar is not involved in the choice of technical equipment or the ISP agreement. Data consumption via the Vimar VIEW Product App is the customer's responsibility. Remote interaction and operation depend on smartphone/tablet type, Wi-Fi signal quality, home internet contract, and smartphone/tablet data contract.

The camera supports P2P technology; verify that your ISP does not block it. Vimar is exempt from liability for malfunctions due to non-compliance with minimum technical specifications. WEEE - Information for users

The crossed-out bin symbol indicates that the product must be disposed of separately at the end of its life. Users must take the product to a sorted waste collection center or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new equivalent product. Retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m² must accept products under 25 cm for free disposal without a purchase obligation. Proper waste collection and disposal contribute to environmental protection and recycling of materials.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Vimar S.p.A. ensures that data processing minimizes personal and identification information, processing only what is strictly necessary. Personal data is processed according to the product/application privacy policy available at www.vimar.com (legal section). The user is responsible for adopting security measures to protect stored personal data. If the products monitor public areas, a 'area under video surveillance' notice must be displayed as per privacy regulations. Images may be stored for 24 to 72 hours as per the Italian Data Protection Authority's measures. The user must ensure the security of passwords and access codes. Providing the password to the Vimar Support Centre for assistance constitutes consent for processing. The user is responsible for changing passwords after any support intervention.
