Before You Begin

Recommended Riding Practices

Parental supervision is required. The scooter should only be used in a controlled environment free of potential traffic hazards, not on public streets. Avoid areas with motor vehicles. Keep both hands on the handlebars at all times. Only one child should ride the scooter at a time. Never use near steps, slopes, driveways, hills, roadways, alleys, or swimming pool areas.

Do not ride the scooter in wet weather. Scooters are designed for use on flat, clean, dry, and smooth paved areas, free from loose debris like rocks, sticks, or gravel. Wet, slick, uneven, or rough surfaces can impair traction and contribute to accidents. Avoid riding in mud, ice, puddles, or water. Avoid excessive speeds, especially downhill. Do not ride at night or when visibility is impaired.

Safety Equipment

Always ensure the child wears proper protective equipment, including a certified safety helmet. A helmet may be legally required by local law; users should check with local law enforcement. Riders should always wear fully enclosed shoes with flat soles.

Failure to use common sense and heed the above warnings further increases the risk of serious injury. Use at your own risk and with appropriate and serious attention to safe operation. Use caution.

Warning: Always inspect scooter prior to riding. Proper inspection and maintenance of the scooter can reduce the risk of injury. Always inspect the scooter before riding and regularly maintain it.

? Maintenance & Repair

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of the scooter.

Maintenance

Even though the GOTRAX KS3PRO is a durable scooter, it requires maintenance to ensure continued performance and riding pleasure.

Cleaning Your Scooter

To keep the scooter in good shape, clean it as often as possible. Never use alcohol or strong cleaning agents, as they may damage delicate materials. Warm water and a damp cloth are sufficient. Avoid applying water directly to the grip tape and never submerge the scooter in water.

Storage

When not in use, store the scooter in a dry and cool location. Avoid storing it outdoors, as sun exposure can damage its appearance and reduce its lifespan.
