Ensure good Wi-Fi coverage. Place the station with at least 0.5 m (1.6 ft) clearance on both sides and 1.5 m (5 ft) in front and from stairs.
NOTE: Do not expose the station to direct sunlight. Ensure the area around the station is clear to improve docking performance.
WARNING: To prevent the robot from falling down stairs, ensure the station is placed at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) away.
Step 5: Prepare the clean water tank
Remove the clean water tank from the station. Fill the clean water tank (on the right) with water and a compatible cleaning solution, if desired.
Step 6: Connect the station to power
Connect the power cord to the wall outlet. Rewind the cord to avoid obstructing the robot's movement.
IMPORTANT: Only certain cleaning solutions can be used safely with the robot. A complete list of compatible ones is available on the website http://answers.irobot.com/s/roomba-combo-cleanser or via the app. Do not use other solutions or bleach-based products.
Step 7: Start the robot
Position the robot in front of the station, then slide it towards it, aligning the charging metal contacts. After a few minutes, an audible signal will inform you that the robot is active.
NOTE: The robot is shipped partially charged, but it is recommended to charge it for a maximum of 4 hours before using it for the first time. To remove it from the station, slide it towards you, then lift it.
Step 8: Download Roomba Home App

Cleaning Pattern
The robot will explore and clean your home automatically, following precise lines. It will return to the station at the end of a cleaning routine or whenever it needs to recharge.
Tips
- Before cleaning, remove any obstacles from the floor.
- Use the robot regularly to keep floors consistently clean.
If it remains inactive and undocked for over 90 minutes, the robot will automatically end the cleaning session. If you are unsure whether the robot has finished cleaning or is paused, check its status in the Roomba Home App.

AutoEmpty™
The robot will automatically empty its dustbin at the end of each cleaning routine.
NOTE: Roomba robots are generally designed for vacuuming most floor types. It is recommended not to use the washing functions on unsealed hardwood floors and some types of laminate/vinyl planks, as this could cause water damage to the floor and/or underneath it. For more information, visit global.irobot.com.
Starting a cleaning routine from the station
If the clean water tank and dirty water tanks are ready, proceed to step 5. If the clean or dirty water tank LEDs are lit:
Step 1: Remove tank
Lift to remove the tank requiring maintenance.
Step 2: Open tank
Lift the latch on the tank to open it.
Step 3: Empty and fill tanks
Empty the dirty water tank. Fill the clean water tank with water.
Cloth washing and drying
As needed, during cleaning routines and at the end of the operation, the robot will return to the station to wash the cloth. Cloth drying occurs only after washing is complete.
IMPORTANT: Do not interrupt the robot during cloth washing. It is normal to hear occasional noises during the entire process, as the cloths rotate and the washing basin fills and empties.
Once the operation is complete, the station proceeds with hot air drying of the cleaning cloths.
NOTE: The drying process may take several hours. You can use the app to choose different drying times. During this phase, you may hear a low humming sound from the base.
Access the Roomba Home App to manually start or stop cloth washing or drying, or to customize washing settings.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the latch is properly closed before reinstalling.
