Symptom and Solution

"Alexa Set-up" errorFollow the "How to install Alexa voice assistant?" section. If already installed, synchronize the device.
"Connection Lost" errorEnsure the device is close to the phone, Bluetooth is on, and the veryfit app is running in the background with necessary permissions. Synchronize the device.
"Network Error" errorCheck your phone's Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
Wrong language of the voice assistantRefer to the "How to change the language of Alexa voice assistant?" section.
Set Alarm and Reminder give no notificationsCheck the device's battery level; alarms may not vibrate on low battery.

Part A: Questions about settings

  1. Backlight/Brightness: Go to Settings > Brightness (levels 1-5 or auto) and "screen-on time" (5s-20s).
  2. Wake Gesture: In Settings, turn the "wake gesture" switch on/off to light up the screen when the arm lifts.
  3. Units: In the veryfit app, go to "My > Unit settings" to change units (height, weight, temperature, distance) to US Standard or metric.
  4. Custom Watch Face: In the veryfit app, go to "Device > Watch Face Market > Photo" to set a photo from your album or take a new one, then customize time color and location.
  5. Date Display: In the veryfit app, go to "Device > Watch Face Market" to select a watch face with a date display or customize your own.
  6. Language: The watch defaults to the phone's system language. You can also change the device language via the veryfit app: "Device > More settings > Device Language".
  7. Data Sync (Phone left at home): Yes, the watch stores data for 3-7 days and syncs automatically when reconnected to the phone and app.
  8. Swimming: Yes, the watch is waterproof and tracks swimming data. Avoid prolonged exposure to saltwater; rinse with fresh water and wipe dry.
  9. Family Health Data: In the veryfit app, go to "Home", scroll down to "My family", click the top-right icon, and add family members' accounts (requires them to own a RERE ASW series smartwatch).
  10. Bluetooth Range: Effective range is typically within 10 meters without obstacles. Obstacles reduce the range.

Part B: Questions about fitness tracking

  1. Phone Connection: You don't need to keep the phone and watch connected constantly. Some functions (notifications, Alexa, calls) require connection, but fitness tracking and health monitoring work offline. Synchronize data by reconnecting Bluetooth and opening the veryfit app. Sync at least once every 3-7 days to prevent data loss.
  2. Bluetooth Connection Abnormal:
    • Ensure sufficient battery level (Bluetooth turns off below 10%).
    • Check if the watch is connected to another phone. Unbind from the other phone or move out of range before pairing.
    • Restart both the watch and the phone.
  3. Step Count Accuracy: The watch has a minimum threshold of 10 steps for recording. Ensure accurate personal information (gender, age, height, weight) in the app. Arm swing, stride length, body shape, and terrain can affect accuracy. Steps may be generated from body movements during sleep or while in a vehicle.
  4. Sports Modes: 60 sports modes are available in the veryfit app. You can add up to 24 to your watch via "Device > More settings > Sports Mode > Edit".

Part C: Questions about health tracking

  1. Sleep Record Accuracy: Ensure the device is worn during sleep. Sleep is recorded only if it lasts for at least three hours. Excessive movement during sleep can affect data.
  2. Blood Oxygen Accuracy: Normal blood oxygen for adults is 95%-100%. Readings within this range are typical.
  3. Heart Rate Reminders: Yes. In the veryfit app, go to "Home > Heart Rate > Settings" to enable and set high/low heart rate reminders.

Part D: Other questions

  1. Message Notifications: Ensure the device is connected via Bluetooth, the app is logged in, and notification permissions are enabled in both the app ("Device > Notification") and the phone's system settings ("Settings > Bluetooth > Device Details > Share System Notifications"). Keep the veryfit app running in the background and disable interfering antivirus software.
  2. Feedback: Send problem descriptions via Amazon order or email to rere_support@163.com with your order number.
