Intended Use
The safety belt is used to secure a patient and prevent them from sliding or falling from a stretcher. It is intended for use with stretchers and is not supplied sterile.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, and non-corrosive environment.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep clean as routine. Wipe with 75% alcohol solution.
Transport
The safety belt can be transported using standard transportation methods.
Durability and Shelf Life
Shelf life is 8 years. The duration of use is less than 4 hours.
Usage Instructions
- Models B2, B4, B8, B9:
To secure: Thread the straps through the handle on the backboard and around the patient and stretcher. Connect the male connector to the female connector until a click is heard, then tighten securely.
To release: Press the side of the buckle and pull the two parts apart.
- Model B10:
To secure: Place the belt's two hooks onto the stretcher's pins and around the patient and stretcher. Connect the male connector to the female connector until a click is heard, then tighten the belt securely.
To release: Press the side of the buckle and pull the two parts apart.
- Model B11:
To secure: Thread the straps through the handle on the backboard and around the patient and stretcher. Connect the ends by pushing the metal tongue into the buckle until a click is heard, then tighten the buckle securely.
To release: Press the button located centrally on the top of the buckle and pull out the metal tongue from the buckle opening.
- Model B12:
To secure: Thread the straps through the handle on the backboard and around the patient and stretcher. The shoulder straps should be around the patient's shoulders and the head side of the stretcher.
To secure: Thread the straps through the handle on the backboard and around the patient and stretcher. Connect the ends by pushing the metal tongue into the buckle until a click is heard, then tighten the buckle securely.
To release: Press the button located centrally on the top of the buckle and pull out the metal tongue from the buckle opening.
Precautions and Warnings
- Always keep clean (including disinfection).
- Any serious incidents occurring in connection with the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority in the Member State where the user and/or patient is located.
