This manual provides instructions for the Philips SpeedPro Aqua cordless vacuum cleaner, covering assembly, operation, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Unpacking and Contents
Carefully unpack the box ?. Verify all parts are present before proceeding. Typical contents include the main unit, extension tube, floor nozzle, Aqua module, charging adapter, power adapter, microfiber pads, cleaning tools, and documentation.
Charging the Appliance
Fully charge the appliance before first use. Place the charging station on a stable surface, 140-150 cm from the floor, away from heat. Charging temperature: 5°C - 40°C.
- Mount the charging station securely to a wall [Wall mount].
- Connect the power adapter to the station and a wall socket [Plug].
- Place the vacuum cleaner on the station ?. Battery indicator lights show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.
Battery Indicators: Lights indicate charge level during charging and are fully lit when charged. They flash when the battery is low.
Assembling the Appliance
- Connect the extension tube to the main body.
- Attach the floor nozzle to the extension tube.
- For Aqua models, attach the Aqua module to the floor nozzle.
Using the Vacuum Cleaner
The SpeedPro Aqua can vacuum and mop simultaneously.
- Prepare Aqua Module: Attach a clean microfiber pad. Fill the water tank with clean water (or approved solution) – do not use hot water. Attach the filled module to the floor nozzle.
- Start Cleaning: Press the power button ▶️. The device vacuums and mops.
- Adjust Settings: Suction power and water flow may be adjustable [Mode settings].
- Operation: Move the vacuum back and forth [Arrows].
- Stop: Press the power button to turn off ❌.
Usage Notes: Do not use mopping on carpets. Ensure the Aqua module is correctly attached and filled. Avoid over-wetting floors.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Dust Container
- Turn off and unplug the appliance.
- Detach the dust container ?️.
- Empty contents into a waste bin.
- Clean the inside with a damp cloth.
- Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.
Cleaning the Filter(s)
- Locate and remove filter(s) [Remove filter].
- Clean according to instructions (tap out dust, wash if washable).
- Allow washable filters to dry completely (at least 24 hours ⏱️) before reinserting.
- Reinsert clean, dry filters.
Note: Some filters require replacement every 6 months.
Cleaning the Aqua Module and Microfiber Pad
- Detach the Aqua module [Detach Aqua module].
- Remove the microfiber pad.
- Empty water from the tank [Water tank].
- Rinse Aqua module parts with clean water.
- Wash the microfiber pad separately (hand wash or machine wash at 30°C).
- Allow all parts to dry completely.
Cleaning the Brush Bar
- Turn off and unplug.
- Detach the floor nozzle.
- Use scissors or the provided tool to cut and remove tangled hair/debris from the brush bar [Clean brush bar].
- Ensure the brush bar rotates freely.
Troubleshooting
- Not working: Check battery charge ?, assembly, dust container, and filters.
- Low suction: Empty dust container, clean/replace filters, check for blockages in nozzle/tube/unit.
- Mopping issues: Verify Aqua module attachment, water tank fill, pad installation, and water outlet.
- Noises: Check brush bar and dust container for blockages.
