Product Overview
The Hikvision KH6 series IP indoor station features a 7-inch touch screen for fluent video and audio communication. It is designed for easy deployment, allowing for independent setup of the entire video intercom system, reducing installation time and cost. Users can view, chat with, and grant access to visitors remotely via mobile phone. The device also integrates with other control systems such as CCTV and elevator control.

2. Terminal and Wiring
The rear panel terminal has 20 pins, including:
- 2 RS-485 pins
- 5 Reserved pins
- 4 Relay output pins
- 8 Alarm input pins
- 1 GND pin
Note: The DS-KH6320-TE1 model has 11 reserved pins, 8 alarm input pins, and 1 GND pin.

3. Installation
The indoor station supports wall mounting with two modes:
Installation Accessory Description
Required accessories include a wall mounting plate and a junction box. The junction box dimensions should be 75 mm (width) x 75 mm (length) x 50 mm (depth). The wall mounting plate dimensions are shown in a diagram.
Before You Start
- Ensure the device and all parts are in good condition.
- The device supports 12 VDC power supply; verify compatibility.
- Power off all related equipment before installation.
- Check product specifications for the installation environment.
Wall Mounting with Junction Box
- Chisel a hole in the wall: 76 mm (width) x 76 mm (length) x 50 mm (depth).
- Insert the junction box into the chiseled hole.
- Fix the wall mounting plate to the junction box using 2 screws [screw].
- Hook the indoor station onto the wall mounting plate by aligning the plate hooks with the slots on the rear panel. Ensure the lock catch [lock catch] engages automatically.
Wall Mounting without Junction Box
- Insert 2 expansion tubes into the wall.
- Fix the wall mounting plate to the wall using 2 screws [screw].
- Hook the indoor station onto the wall mounting plate by aligning the plate hooks with the slots on the rear panel. Ensure the lock catch [lock catch] engages automatically.

Getting Started
1. Activate Indoor Station
You must activate the device by setting a strong password before use.
- Power on the device; it will automatically enter the activation page.
- Create and confirm a password.
- Tap OK to activate the indoor station.
2. Quick Configuration
- Choose the language and tap Next.
- Set network parameters and tap Next:
- Edit Local IP, Subnet Mask, and Gateway parameters, or enable DHCP for automatic network configuration.
- Configure indoor station parameters:
- Select Indoor Station and tap Next to link the main door station. Edit Floor and Room No., and create/confirm the SIP register password. (Note: The SIP password must match the door station's registration password).
- Tap Advanced Settings to edit Community No., Building No., and Unit No.
- Optionally, enable Indoor Station Settings and select the indoor station to link.
- Select Indoor Extension and tap Next to link an indoor station. Edit No. and Room Name, and create/confirm the SIP register password.
- Link related devices and tap Next. If devices are on the same LAN, they will appear in a list. Tap a device or enter its serial number to link.
- Tap the settings icon to access Network Settings.
- Edit door station network parameters manually or enable DHCP.
- Tap OK to save settings.
- Tap Finish to save all settings.
