USX-MOUNT XML008-1K-01 Instruction Manual
For 47-84" TV
❗ CAUTION: PLEASE READ ENTIRE MANUAL PRIOR TO USE AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Before Getting Started: Pre-Installation Checks
Before beginning installation, verify the following to ensure compatibility and suitability:
- Check TV VESA Compatibility: Ensure your TV's VESA mounting hole pattern falls within the specified ranges: Horizontal MAX: 600mm (23.62"), MIN: 200mm (7.87"); Vertical MAX: 400mm (15.74"), MIN: 100mm (3.94"). If your TV's VESA pattern is outside these limits, this mount is NOT compatible.
- Check TV Weight: Verify that your TV, including any accessories, weighs NO MORE than 132 lbs (60 kg). If it exceeds this weight, this mount is NOT compatible.
- Check Wall Material: This mount is designed for installation on walls with wood studs or solid concrete. If you have drywall with wood studs, ensure it meets the minimum stud size and spacing requirements. ❗ CAUTION: DO NOT install into drywall alone. For solid concrete walls, ensure the minimum thickness is 8 inches (203 mm).
❗ CAUTION: DO NOT exceed the maximum weight indicated. This mounting system is intended for use only with the maximum weights indicated. Use with products heavier than the maximum weights indicated may result in collapse of the mount and its accessories, causing possible injury.

Installation Steps
STEP 1: Attach Brackets to TV
1-1 Select TV Screws
Illustrations show two types of VESA holes on the TV (M6 and M8). The diagram shows a hand selecting a screw. Incorrect screw usage is depicted with red crosses (❌): a screw that is too short, a screw that is too long and protrudes, and a screw that is too short and does not engage enough threads. Correct screw usage is shown with a green checkmark (✔️), indicating a screw of appropriate length that engages sufficient threads.
1-2 Figure out the suitable position of brackets
Diagrams show attaching TV brackets (01) to the TV's VESA mounting holes. Options are presented for 'LOW MOUNTING HOLES' and 'HIGH MOUNTING HOLES'. Instructions indicate to 'INSTALL UP/DOWN IF NEEDED' using arrows and a level tool. A diagram shows that 'TV BRACKETS MUST BE LEVEL', with a red cross (❌) indicating an unlevel state and a green checkmark (✔️) indicating a level state.
1-3 Need Spacer?
Two scenarios are presented:
- I No, choose suitable screws and washers: Use screws 'a' or 'b' with washer 'i'.
- II Yes, choose suitable screws, washers and spacers: Use screws 'c' or 'd' with washer 'i' and spacers 'e', 'f', 'g', or 'h'.
Tip: If you need to combine M6/M8 (b/c/d) screws with 2.5mm spacers (g), you have to remove the inner circle of the spacer.
1-4 Attach the TV Plate
Diagram shows attaching the TV plate to the brackets on the TV. A 'No!' symbol indicates an incorrect method.
STEP 2A: Attach Wall Plate to Wall Wood Stud Option
❗ CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage!
- Drywall covering the wall must not exceed 5/8 in. (16 mm).
- Minimum wood stud size: common 2 x 4 in. (51 x 102 mm) nominal 1½ x 3½ in. (38 x 89 mm).
- Maximum horizontal space between fasteners: 16 in. (406 mm).
- Stud center must be verified.
1. Locate studs: Verify and mark the center of the stud by finding the stud edges using a thin nail or an edge-to-edge stud finder. A diagram shows a stud with a 'Centre line' marked.
2. Position template: Place the mounting template at your desired height and line up the holes with your stud center line. Level the wall plate and mark the hole locations. A diagram shows the 'Mounting template' being positioned on a wall, aligned with stud markings.
3. Drill pilot holes: Drill pilot holes using a 5/32 in. (4 mm) diameter drill bit. ❗ IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 2.36 in. (60 mm). Be sure to drill into the center of the studs. A diagram shows a drill bit creating a pilot hole of specified depth.
4. Install wall plate: Install wall plate (02) using four lag bolts (03). Tighten the lag bolts only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate. ❗ CAUTION: Improper use could reduce the holding power of the lag bolt. DO NOT over-tighten the lag bolts. A diagram shows the wall plate (02) being attached with lag bolts (03) and indicates 'UP'. A 'No!' symbol indicates incorrect installation.
Go to STEP 3 on PAGE 13.
STEP 2B: Attach Wall Plate to Solid Concrete Wall
❗ CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage!
- Mount the wall plate assembly (02) directly onto the concrete surface.
- Minimum solid concrete thickness: 8 in. (203 mm).
1. Position template: Position the mounting template on the wall at your desired height. Level the wall plate and mark the hole locations. A diagram shows the 'Mounting template' being positioned on a wall.
2. Drill pilot holes: Drill four pilot holes using a 3/8 in. (10 mm) diameter masonry drill bit. ❗ IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 2.36 in. (60 mm). A diagram shows a masonry drill bit creating a pilot hole of specified depth.
3. Insert anchors: Insert four anchors (Concrete Wall Anchor, not included). ❗ CAUTION: Be sure the anchors are seated flush with the concrete surface. A diagram shows four anchors being inserted into the wall.
4. Install wall plate: Insert wall plate (02) using four lag bolts (03).
STEP 3: Extension Arms and End Support Assembly
Please make sure you install these extension arms in the right direction. Tip: The part 04 extension arms have no threads in the holes; please nest them with the part 05 extension arms to catch on to the bolts.
Diagrams show attaching extension arms (04, 05) to the TV bracket assembly, indicating 'Inside' and 'Outside' orientation. End supports (06) are then attached using bolts (08, 09, 10) and the Allen key (07).
STEP 4: Wall Plate Installation Integrity Test
Before hanging the TV, please try to pull the mount to make sure that it has been assembled on the wall tightly. A diagram shows a person pulling the mount. A green checkmark (✔️) indicates a successful test (mount is tight), while a red cross (❌) indicates failure (mount is loose).
STEP 5: Hang and Secure TV to Wall Plate
Hang the TV/bracket assembly onto the wall plate. Wrap clips on the bracket around the extension arms and tighten them using bolts (10). Diagrams show the TV being hung, clips being wrapped, and bolts (10) being tightened.
STEP 6: Adjustments
6-1 TV leveling adjustment (±3°): Loosen 4 leveling bolts on the rear of the TV plate by a maximum of 2 turns, adjust to level, and retighten to secure. Diagrams show loosening and tightening bolts (07) for leveling.
6-2 Tilting angle adjustment (+5°/-15°): Loosen the handle and tilting bolt, adjust the TV to your desired position, then tighten the handle and tilting bolt. Put the handle level when finished. Diagrams show adjusting tilt angles using the handle and bolts (07), indicating +5° and -15° ranges.
6-3 Cables manage: Manage TV cables orderly and guide them through the velcros. Diagrams show cables being routed through velcro straps.
