Do not deploy t he cable f or LAN connect ion out door t o prevent elect ronic shock hazards.  Do not power of f t he rout er when saving conf igurat ions or f irmware upgrades. It may damage t he dat a in a f lash. Please disconnect t he Int ernet connect ion on t he rout er before powering it of f when a TR-069/ ACS server manages t he rout er. Connect or f or a power cord.
Power Swit ch.
Connect or f or a USB device (f or 3G/ 4G USB Modem or print er or Environment al Thermomet er). Connect er f or local net work devices or modem f or accessing Int ernet . Connect ers f or local net work devices. The f unct ion of t his connect or is adj ust able and cont rolled by web user int erf ace. It can perf orm t he j ob as a WAN port (f or accessing Int ernet ) or as a LAN port (f or local net work devices). Press "Wirel ess LAN ON/ OFF/ WPS" but t on once t o wait f or cl ient device making net work connect ion t hrough WPS. Press "Wireless LAN ON/ OFF/ WPS" but t on t wice t o enable (WLAN LED on) or disable (WLAN LED of f ) wireless connect ion. Rest ore t he def ault set t ings. Usage: Turn on t he rout er (ACT LED is blinking). Press t he hole and keep f or more t han 5 seconds. When you see t he ACT LED begins t o blink rapidl y t han usual , release t he but t on. Then t he rout er will rest art wit h t he f act ory def ault conf igurat ion.

3. Hardw are Installation
This sect ion will guide you t o inst all t he rout er t hrough hardware connect ion and conf igure t he rout er' s set t ings t hrough web browser. Bef ore st art ing t o conf igure t he rout er, you have t o connect your devices correct ly.
3.1 Netw ork Connection
1. Connect t he cable Modem/ DSL Modem/ Media Convert er t o any WAN port of rout er wit h Et hernet cable (RJ-45).
2. Connect one end of an Et hernet cable (RJ-45) t o one of t he LAN port s (P1~P3) of t he rout er and t he ot her end of t he cabl e (RJ-45) int o t he Et hernet port on your comput er.
3. Connect one end of t he power cord t o t he rout er' s power port on t he rear panel, and t he ot her side int o a wall out let .
4. Power on t he device by pressing down t he power swit ch on t he rear panel. 5. The syst em st art s t o init iat e. Af t er complet ing t he syst em t est , t he ACT LED
will light up and st art blinking. (For t he det ailed inf ormat ion of LED st at us, please ref er t o sect ion 2. Panel Explanat ion)

3 .2 Wa ll-M ount e d I nst a lla t ion
Vigor rout er has keyhole t ype mount ing slot s on t he underside.
1. A t emplat e is provided on t he Vigor rout er packaging box t o enable you t o space t he screws correct ly on t he wall.
2. Place t he t emplat e on t he wall and drill t he holes according t o t he recommended inst ruct ion.
3. Fit screws int o t he wall using t he appropriat e t ype of wall plug.

The recommended drill diamet er shall be 6. 5mm (1/ 4" ).

4. When you f inished about procedure, t he rout er has been mount ed on t he wall f irmly.

4. Softw are Configuration

To access Int ernet , pl ease f inish basic conf igurat ion af t er complet ing t he hardware inst allat ion.
The Quick Start Wizard is designed f or you t o easily set up your rout er f or Int ernet access. You can direct ly access t he Quick Start Wizard via Web Conf igurat or.
1. Make sure your PC connect s t o t he rout er correct ly.

You may eit her simpl y set up your comput er t o get IP dynamically f rom t he rout er or set up t he IP address of t he comput er t o be t he same subnet as the default IP address of Vigor router 192. 168. 1. 1. For t he det ailed inf ormat ion, please ref er t o t he lat er sect ion - Trouble Shoot ing of t he guide.

2. Open a web browser on your PC and t ype http:/ / 192. 168. 1. 1. A pop-up window will open t o ask f or username and password. Please t ype " admin/ admin" as t he Username/ Password and click Login.

3. Now, t he Main Screen will pop up. Click Wizards>>Quick Start Wizard.

The home page will change slight ly in accordance wit h t he rout er you have.

4. Ent er t he l ogin password on t he f ield of New Password and ret ype it on t he f ield of Confirm Password. Then click Next t o cont inue.

5. On t he next page as shown below, please select t he WAN int erf ace t hat you use. Then click Next f or next st ep.
WAN1 (Et hernet ) and WAN2 (Et hernet ) will bring up dif f erent conf igurat ion page. Here we t ake WAN1 (Et hernet ) as an example. Af t er choosing WAN1, please specif y physical t ype. Then, click Next. On t he next page as shown below, please sel ect t he appropriat e Int ernet access t ype according t o t he inf ormat ion f rom your ISP. For example, you should select PPPoE mode if t he ISP provides you PPPoE int erf ace. PPPoE 1. Choose WAN1 as t he WAN Int erf ace and click t he Next but t on. The f ollowing
page will be open f or you t o specif y Int ernet Access Type.

2. Click PPPoE as t he Int ernet Access Type. Then click Next t o cont inue.
3. Please manually ent er t he Username/ Password provided by your ISP. Click Next f or viewing summary of such connect ion.
4. Click Finish. A page of Quick Start Wizard Setup OK!!! will appear. Then, t he syst em st at us of t his prot ocol will be shown.
5. Now, you can enj oy surf ing on t he Int ernet .
