Safety and Use
Please read this chapter carefully before using your device. The manufacturer disclaims liability for damage resulting from improper use or use contrary to these instructions.
- Do not use your device while driving if it is not safely parked, as this is illegal in many countries.
- Comply with restrictions in specific places like hospitals, planes, gas stations, and schools.
- Switch the device off before boarding an aircraft.
- Switch the device off in health care facilities, except in designated areas.
- Switch the device off near gas or flammable liquids. Obey all signs and instructions in fuel depots, petrol stations, or chemical plants.
- Turn off your device in blasting areas or areas with signs requesting "two-way radios" or "electronic devices" to be turned off, to avoid interfering with blasting operations.
- Consult your doctor and the device manufacturer if your device might interfere with medical devices. Keep the device at least 15 cm (approx. 6 inches) away from medical devices like pacemakers, hearing aids, or insulin pumps when the device is on.
- Do not allow children to use or play with the device or accessories unsupervised.
- To reduce radio wave exposure: Use a hands-free kit. Keep the device away from the belly of pregnant women or the lower abdomen of adolescents.
- Do not expose your device to adverse weather or environmental conditions (moisture, humidity, rain, liquid infiltration, dust, sea air, etc.). The recommended operating temperature is 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). Temperatures above 40°C (104°F) may temporarily impair display legibility.
- Use only batteries, chargers, and accessories compatible with your device model.
- Do not use a damaged device (e.g., cracked display, dented back cover) as it may cause injury.
- Avoid keeping the device connected to the charger when the battery is fully charged for extended periods, as this can cause overheating and shorten battery life.
- Do not sleep with the device on your person or in your bed. Do not place the device under blankets, pillows, or your body, especially when connected to the charger, as this may cause overheating.
Protect Your Hearing
[hearing protection icon] To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. Exercise caution when holding your device near your ear while the loudspeaker is in use.
Battery
The battery is not fully charged upon purchase due to air regulations. Please charge it first.
- Do not attempt to open the battery due to the risk of toxic fumes and burns.
- For devices with non-removable batteries, do not attempt to eject or replace the battery.
- Do not puncture, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery.
- For unibody devices, do not attempt to open or puncture the back cover.
- Do not burn or dispose of used batteries or devices in household waste. Do not store them at temperatures above 60°C (140°F), as this can cause explosion or leakage of flammable liquid/gas. Extremely low air pressure can also cause explosion or leakage.
- Only use the battery for its intended purpose. Never use damaged batteries.
CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Devices, accessories, and batteries must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations.
The symbol [recycling symbol] on your device, battery, and accessories means these products must be taken to collection points at the end of their life:
- Municipal waste disposal centers with specific bins for electronic equipment.
- Collection bins at points of sale.
This ensures recycling and reuse of components, preventing environmental pollution.
Chargers
Home AC/Travel chargers operate within the temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F).
Chargers designed for your device meet safety standards for information technology and office equipment. Due to varying electrical specifications, a charger purchased in one jurisdiction may not work in another. Use chargers only for their intended purpose.
Power Supply Characteristics (country dependent):
- Travel charger: Input: 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 0.35A; Output: 5V, 2A
- Battery: Lithium 6000 mAh (Typical Capacity)
Radio Waves
THIS DEVICE MEETS THE GOVERNMENT'S REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES.
The exposure standard uses the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The SAR limit set by public authorities (e.g., FCC in the US, ISEDC in Canada) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over 1 gram of body tissue. SAR tests are conducted using standard operating positions at the device's highest certified power level across all tested frequency bands.
This device complies with SAR for general population/uncontrolled exposure limits (ANSI/IEEE C95.1-1992) and has been tested according to IEEE1528.
The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model with SAR levels evaluated as compliant with FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid by searching FCC ID: 2ACCJB224.
The highest SAR value for this device when tested for use close to the body is XXX W/Kg.
While SAR levels may vary between devices and positions, they all meet government RF exposure requirements.
For body-worn operation, the device meets FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with a non-metallic accessory and kept at least 0 mm from the body. Other accessories may not ensure compliance.
Additional SAR information is available on the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) website: www.ctia.org/.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device under Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate RF energy. If not installed and used per instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. There is no guarantee that interference will not occur. If interference is experienced, try correcting it by:
- Reorienting or relocating the receiving antenna.
- Increasing the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connecting the equipment to an outlet on a different circuit than the receiver.
- Consulting the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
FCC Compliance
For receiver devices associated with licensed radio services, this device bears the following statement:
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause harmful interference.
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
