Important Safety and Usage Information

  • Read this manual before operating. Retain for future reference.
  • Do not open the cabinet; refer servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Switch off and disconnect from AC power when not in use for extended periods.
  • Do not install in places exposed to heating sources, direct sunshine, moisture, or rain.
  • Avoid dripping or splashing; do not place liquid-filled objects on the unit.
  • Install on a horizontal, flat, firm surface with good ventilation. Do not block vents to prevent overheating.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft, clean rag; avoid chemicals or detergents.
  • This guide is for user operation, not a configuration criterion.
  • Use only manufacturer-specified attachments/accessories.
  • Ensure the main plug remains readily operable as the disconnect device.
  • WARNING: Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat (sunshine, fire, etc.).
  • CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced incorrectly. Use only the same or equivalent type.

Safety Symbols Explained

  • [Lightning Flash Symbol]: Indicates dangerous voltage within the product that may cause electric shock. Do not open the cover; refer servicing to qualified personnel.
  • [Exclamatory Mark Symbol]: Indicates important operating instructions.

Mounting Your Sound Bar on a Wall

Installation Instructions

  • To prevent injuries, fasten the sound bar securely to the wall.
  • Drill two holes into the wall, approximately 6mm in diameter, spaced 660mm apart.
  • Insert the two supplied wall plugs into the holes.
  • Insert the two supplied screws into the plugs and tighten.
  • Ensure there is a 4mm distance between the screw heads and the wall.
  • Hang the assembled sound bar onto the screws.

Sound Bar Panels

Front Panel

  • 1 Speaker
  • 2 Display screen
  • 3 Remote sensor
  • 4 Power: Turns the sound bar on or off.
  • 5 Source: Selects the input audio source.
  • 6 Volume Up: Increases audio volume.
  • 7 Volume Down: Decreases audio volume.

Side Panel

  • (Controls labeled 4, 5, 6, 7)

Back Panel

  • 8 AC IN: Power input.
  • 9 HDMI (ARC): For HDMI Audio Return Channel connection.
  • 10 USB: For USB media playback or firmware updates (if applicable).
  • 11 OPTICAL: For Optical audio input.
  • 12 AUX IN: For auxiliary audio input.

Connecting to Your TV

Connection Options

  • 1. HDMI (ARC): Best Quality (cable included).
  • 2. Optical: Better Quality (cable not included).
  • 3. Aux: Good Quality (cable not included).

ARC (Audio Return Channel)

  • ARC is an audio return channel function for digital audio, providing the best sound quality.
  • Connect the supplied HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC input on the sound bar and the HDMI ARC output on your TV or external device.
  • Note: Ensure the external device audio output is set to PCM.
  • Ensure HDMI CEC is enabled on your TV for optimal performance.

Roku TV™ Ready™

  • This sound bar is Roku TV Ready™ certified.
  • If you have a Roku TV™, connect the supplied HDMI cable to your sound bar and TV, then follow the on-screen instructions for simple setup.

Optical Connection

  • Connect your sound bar to your TV or other external devices (CD, VCR, DVD player, etc.) using an optical input cable (not included).
  • Connect the cable to your sound bar's optical input and the external device's optical output.
  • Press the [OPT] button on the remote to switch to optical input mode. The display will show "OPT".
  • Note: Ensure the external device audio output is set to PCM.

AUX IN Connection

  • This sound bar features auxiliary audio input terminals.
  • Connect your sound bar to your TV or other external devices using an AUX input cable (not included).
  • Connect the cable to your sound bar's AUX input and the external device's AUX output.
  • Press the [AUX] button on the remote to switch to AUX input mode. The display will show "LINE".

Connections

Bluetooth Pairing and Operation

  • Press the STANDBY button on the remote to power on the sound bar.
  • Press the [Bluetooth] button on the remote to switch to Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BT".
  • If "BT" is not displayed, the sound bar may still be searching. Follow these steps for pairing:
  • 1. Press and hold the [Bluetooth] button on the remote.
  • 2. On your smart device, search for the Bluetooth signal of the sound bar.
  • 3. Select "ESBAB20RTR" from the list and enter the password "0000" if prompted.
  • 4. The sound bar will sync and play audio from your device. "BT" and a beep indicate a successful connection.
  • Bluetooth connection range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
  • In Bluetooth mode, the remote buttons [PLAY/PAUSE], [NEXT], [PREVIOUS], [VOLUME+/-] are active.

Disconnecting Bluetooth

  • Press and hold the [Bluetooth] button on the remote. The screen will show "no BT" upon disconnection.

Remote Control

Operation

  • Insert batteries into the remote control.
  • Point the remote control at the remote sensor on the front panel.
  • The remote operates within approximately 8 meters (26 feet) and a 30-degree angle from the left and right sides.

Battery Installation

  • Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
  • Load two AAA/1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) matches the indicators inside the compartment.
  • Replace the cover.
  • NOTE: Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for a long time. Weak batteries can leak and damage the remote. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat. Dispose of batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

Basic Playback

  • Power: Press to switch on the unit. Press again to enter standby mode.
  • Bluetooth: Press to enter BT mode. Hold for 3 seconds to disconnect Bluetooth.
  • Source: Press repeatedly to cycle through Bluetooth, AUX IN, USB, OPTICAL IN, and ARC modes.
  • Equalizer (EQ): Press repeatedly to cycle through EQ1 (MUSIC), EQ2 (MOVIE), and EQ3 (NEWS) modes.
  • ARC: Press to enter Audio Return Channel mode.
  • OPT: Press to enter Optical mode.
  • Play/Pause: Press to pause playback; press again to resume.
  • Next: Press to skip to the next track.
  • Previous: Press to return to the previous track.
  • Volume Up [+]: Press to increase volume.
  • Volume Down [-]: Press to decrease volume.
  • Mute: Press to temporarily mute sound; press again to unmute.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions
