4.6 KW Electric Motor Installation

This manual describes the installation of the electric motor for the Logosol band sawmill. Please refer to the user manual for your band sawmill for information on assembly, settings, and safety instructions.

Setup Instructions:

❗ After assembly, follow the instructions under "Setup sequence" in the sawmill manual to complete setup before starting the machine.

Installation Steps

  1. Step 1: Mounting the Motor

    Parts: 2 x M10x40, 2 x M10x40, 4 x M10

    Description: Attach the motor to the mounting bracket using the provided bolts and nuts.

  2. Step 2: Attaching the Sawmill Frame

    Parts: 4 x M8x12, 4 x M8

    Description: Secure the sawmill frame components to the motor assembly.

  3. Step 3: Wiring Connections

    Parts: 2 x M4x35, 2 x M4

    Description: Connect the motor wiring. Ensure connections are secure.

  4. Step 4: Installing the Pulley

    Parts: 2 x M10x20

    Description: The screws that clamp the bushing must be positioned in the holes where the threaded section meets the pulley.

  5. Step 5: Belt Installation

    Part: 1 x 9020-011-0091 (Belt)

    Description: Install the drive belt, ensuring proper tension between the motor pulley and the sawmill pulley. The arrow indicates the direction of rotation.

  6. Step 6: Securing the Motor Cover

    Parts: 2 x M6x65, 1 x M6x45, 3 x M6

    Description: Attach the motor cover using the specified screws.

  7. Step 7: Cable Management

    Parts: 2 x M6x12, 2 x M6

    Description: Secure the motor cables using the provided clips and screws.

Starting the Motor

Instructions:

  1. HOLD the motor switch.
  2. PRESS the motor switch to start.
