Installation

Step 1: Attach the Mounting Base

Attach the device mounting base to the left side of the helmet.

Option A: Clip Mount

Slide the clip under the helmet shell, with the mounting base on the outside of the helmet.

Option B: 3M Adhesive Mount

Peel off the red backing and apply the adhesive mount to the helmet. Tip: The adhesive base is permanently attached. When installing, ensure there is clearance and route the speaker cable correctly.

Step 2: Connect the RideSYNC2 Device

Insert the tabs on the back of the device into the slots on the mounting base and slide down until the device clicks into place. To remove, push the tab at the top of the mounting base towards the helmet and slide the device upwards for easy removal and charging.

Step 3: Install the Speakers

To simplify speaker installation, first remove the cheek pads and helmet liner. The wires should be routed under these coverings. Place the speakers in the helmet's ear pockets or find a suitable location near the ears for installation. Use the hook-and-loop fastener strips to secure the speakers. Tip: For optimal listening, speakers should be as close to the ears as possible. If necessary, the included shims can be used to bring the speakers closer to the ears.

Step 4: Install the Microphone

Choose the boom microphone or button microphone that best suits your helmet style. Plug the microphone wire into the port on the speaker wire harness. The microphone should be positioned as close to the mouth as possible and can be secured using the provided hook-and-loop fastener strips. Tip: For a clean installation and hassle-free experience, wires can be secured to the helmet's EPS foam using small pieces of adhesive tape under the liner and cheek pads.
