Setup

1. Connect the USB-C to the Talk PRO microphone.

Connect the USB-C cable from the Talk PRO microphone to the USB-A input on your PC or Mac.

2. Check your PC or Mac settings to ensure the connection is established.

The microphone is shown correctly positioned on its stand, indicating proper setup for use. ✔️

3. Configure the Talk PRO with PC / MAC

Configure the Talk PRO with PC (Windows 7, 8, or 10)

In the Start menu, select Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, select the Sound icon.
Select the Recording tab and choose JLab Talk PRO.
Select the Playback tab and choose JLab Talk PRO.

Configure the Talk PRO with MAC (macOS 10.10 or Superior)

Open System Preferences and select the Sound icon.
Select the Input tab and choose JLab Talk PRO.
Select the Output tab and choose JLab Talk PRO.
On this screen, set the Output volume to your desired level.

In Use

Polar Patterns

Cardioid: Captures sound primarily from the front. Diagram shows sound being captured from the front.
Omni: Captures all surrounding sounds. Diagram shows sound being captured from all directions (360 degrees).
Stereo: Captures sound in left and right channels separately. Diagram shows sound being captured in left and right channels.
Bidirectional: Captures sound from the front and rear. Diagram shows sound being captured from the front and rear.

Usage Notes

The Talk PRO works with virtually all recording software installed on macOS, Windows, or Linux. Adjust your software settings accordingly.
No additional "driver"/"software" is needed for the Talk PRO. Simply connect and configure the device settings.
The Talk PRO will not function with a "power bank"/battery. It only works with USB-A input on an operating system.
