IMPORTANCE

Please read this owner's handbook carefully before using your H9 AWD. Familiarize yourself with the correct operation, features, capabilities, and limitations. This handbook includes safe riding tips but does not cover all riding techniques or skills necessary for safe electric bicycle operation.

This handbook includes assembly and maintenance instructions. Never perform work beyond what is outlined here. For service, repair, or maintenance beyond these instructions, consult a qualified E-Bike specialist or professional cycle mechanic.

Riding any bicycle carries inherent risks. It is the rider's sole responsibility to be properly educated and prepared. Wallke eBikes strongly recommends a full inspection by a certified mechanic before the first ride and regular checks thereafter.

Under no circumstances is Wallke eBikes responsible for any damage resulting from damaged, defective, or improperly secured parts, including personal injury or death.

Disclaimer: Must be 18 years of age or older to ride.

COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW

Safety And Compliance With The Law

Your e-bike is designed to meet safety requirements for battery-operated bicycles. However, local laws governing e-bike use on public roadways, parks, and other areas may differ. Please check with your local authority before using your e-bike in public areas.

All laws regarding standard bicycle use, such as helmet use and infant seat requirements, apply to e-bikes. Check local regulations for any specific restrictions.

The Lithium-ion Battery Of Your E-Bike

Your e-bike is equipped with a lightweight lithium-ion battery, offering superior performance compared to older lead- or nickel-based batteries.

Your First Ride

Please be VERY CAREFUL on your first ride. E-bikes accelerate faster than regular bicycles. Practice in a safe, open area away from traffic and obstacles. Start in pedal assist level 0 to get comfortable with the bike's controls and power delivery before attempting higher assist levels or using the throttle.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Getting Started

Ensure the bike is properly assembled, all components are secured, and a mechanic has checked the assembly. Read this manual thoroughly. Turn on the bike and select a pedal assist level.

For your first ride, choose a safe, open area. Start in PAS level 0 if you are new to e-bikes. Use appropriate safety gear and rider knowledge.

You can use the throttle to accelerate and maintain your desired speed.

Riding Modes

The H9 AWD features dual motors, making it heavier and handle differently than standard mountain bikes. Be cautious with the powerful all-wheel drive settings. Start in an easy setting to get familiar with the bike's weight and power.

You can select between front wheel, rear wheel, or all-wheel drive on demand.

Display Modes:

  • All-wheel drive: Shows dual motor engagement.
  • Eco power mode: Optimized for efficiency.
  • Rear wheel drive: Utilizes only the rear motor.
  • Front wheel drive: Utilizes only the front motor.

Recommended Rider Size

Ensure you understand safe operation and follow all traffic laws. Riders must be 18 years of age or older.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR H9 AWD

The H9 AWD is an all-wheel drive, Class 3 eBike with a 1750 watt power drive system. It features two complementary drive systems:

  • An electric drive system powered by the controller and/or throttle.
  • A seven-speed system powered by pedaling.

These systems work independently, but using them together provides a versatile and enjoyable experience. The gear system is for pedal power only and does not affect the electric power system.

Name Of Each Part
