User's Guide

Important Information

This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

Product Overview

The LiveFree DUO250 is a versatile and simple emergency response system. It is designed to provide quick and reliable assistance when needed.

Getting Help in Three Easy Steps

  1. Summon help: Simply press the help button on the pendant.
  2. EZ Care: The system activates EZ Care, which contacts a specialist.
  3. Professionally Trained Assistance: Get immediate assistance from a specialist.
  4. Emergency Service: If necessary, emergency services will be dispatched.

Setup and Pairing

  1. Connect the power adapter to the Duo unit and turn on the power switch. Select either 4G or Tel by moving the switch.
  2. Enter Pair Mode:
    • Press and hold the EZ Duo pair button for 3 seconds until the green LED starts flashing.
    • Press and hold the RF device pair button for 3 seconds.
    • The EZ Duo will emit a short beep, and the green and red LEDs will flash for 2 seconds, indicating RF Pairing.
    • Notes:
      • Repeat step 'b' to pair more RF devices.
      • Each operation should be done within 5 seconds, or it will exit the pairing mode.
      • If the cancel button is pressed during pairing mode, all RF devices in the current group will be deleted.
  3. Make a Test Call: Press and hold the red SOS button on the device or the button on the pendant to make a test call. [Test Call Icon]

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.

This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
