Installation Caution

CAUTION! DO NOT INSTALL INTO DRYWALL ALONE. VERIFY YOUR CEILING CONSTRUCTION. USE WOOD STUDS TO MOUNT. VIVO includes mounting for brick and concrete. If unsure, please contact VIVO support.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Cable Routing

OPTION A: Run cables through arm (A).

OPTION B: If running cables through ceiling, pull cables through top plate of arm (A).

Step 2: Mounting the Mount

Option A: Drywall Mounting

Use the top plate of Mount (A) to mark mounting holes on the ceiling. Using a 3/16" drill bit, drill approximately 2.2" into a ceiling stud. Position Mount (A) and secure it to the pre-drilled holes using ST6x55 Screws (W-A) and M6 Washers (W-C). A visual indicator shows an incorrect mounting method (❌) and a correct mounting method (✔️).

Option B: Concrete/Brick Mounting

Use the top plate of Mount (A) to mark mounting holes on the ceiling. Using a ½" drill bit, drill approximately 2.4" into the ceiling. Use Concrete Anchors (W-B), ST6x55mm Screws (W-A), and M6 Washers (W-C) to mount Mount (A). A visual indicator shows an incorrect mounting method (❌) and a correct mounting method (✔️).

Step 3: Attaching the Tray

Use the two upper set of holes on the bottom of Mount (A) to install two M5x12mm Screws (S-C), Plastic Spacer (S-A), and Threaded Plate (S-B) using the 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A), leaving a 4mm screw gap. Then, latch Shelf (B) onto the previously installed screws. Install the remaining M5x12mm Screws (S-C) in the remaining set of holes. Secure all screws with the 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A).

Step 4: Final Adjustments and Projector Placement

To adjust the height, use the 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A) to loosen the set screw located in the back of the mount. Adjust the height as desired and re-tighten the set screw to secure. Place the projector onto the assembly and connect its power cables.
