Installation Steps
Step 1: Fixation to the Pole
Attach the fixing holders to the pole. Ensure they are positioned correctly for panel mounting.
Step 2: Secure Panel
Place the panel and secure it using the fixing holders. Tighten bolts to the specified torque (M8 16Nm) using a calibrated torque wrench.
Step 3: Connect Cables
Connect the cables to the PV panel module. Ensure correct polarity.
Step 4: Mount Panel Assembly
Attach the panel assembly securely to the pole.
Step 5: Cable Management
Route and secure the cables along the pole.
Step 6: Electrical Connections
Connect the extension cables. Ensure connections are secure.
Step 7: Final Cable Securing
Secure all connected cables, paying attention to the connector details shown in the close-up view.
Step 8: Completed Connection
The electrical connections are now complete for this stage.
Step 9: Panel Orientation
Adjust the panel's orientation as required.
Step 10: Final Torque Tightening
Perform final tightening of the panel mounting bolts to the specified torque (M8 16Nm).
Step 11: Luminaire Connection
Connect the panel cables to the luminaire. Attention: Do not connect the MC4 male and female connectors from the last master module.
Step 12: Multi-Panel Installation
In case of more than one Photovoltaic Vertical Panel, use the MC4 adapters for series connection.
Step 13: Luminaire Wiring
Connect the PV Vertical Panel to the luminaire. This may involve drilling a hole (Ø20mm) in the pole at a distance of 150mm-500mm (5.9in-19.7in) from the top.
Step 14: Internal Luminaire Connections
Make the internal electrical connections within the luminaire. Ensure correct torque for M20 connections (2.2Nm).
Step 15: Detailed Luminaire Wiring
Follow the detailed wiring diagram for connecting the panel to the luminaire's internal components. Ensure correct torque for M20 connections (1.8Nm).
Step 16: Final Luminaire Assembly
Complete the internal wiring and secure the luminaire components.
Step 17: Internal PV Connections
Observe the internal connections for PV1 and PV2, noting positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
Step 18: Final Connection to Luminaire
Make the final connection to the luminaire. Attention: Do not connect the cables incorrectly.
General Warnings
Important: All storage, installation, use, operation, and maintenance of the products must be performed exactly according to the instructions in this manual and/or other instructions provided by Signify to guarantee safe use over its entire lifetime. Failure to adhere to these instructions will invalidate your entitlement to warranty. Bolts with torque indication on the drawing need to be tightened using a calibrated torque wrench. Pre-assembled bolts need to be retightened again to the required torque specification to assure maximum strength over lifetime.
