The Blue Pure 311i Max air purifier is an electrical appliance for indoor use only. Take necessary precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Air Quality Status (PM 2.5): The air purifier has a particle sensor to measure the fine particles (PM2.5) level. The LED indicator displays air quality status in 5 colors from excellent (blue) to very polluted (red).

Getting Started
Indicators:
- 1: ON/Standby button

Two Button Control:
Press the ON/Standby button to turn the air purifier on. Adjust the mode and fan speed using the Fan Speed button. The air purifier has four fan speeds: Night mode (lowest/most silent), Speed 1, Speed 2, and Speed 3 (highest).
Modes:
- Auto mode: Automatically adjusts the fan speed based on your PM2.5 indoor level to ensure optimal air quality. Recommended setting.
- Night mode: Lowest fan speed and fully dimmed lights.
- Fan speeds 1-2-3: Manually set fan speed levels by pressing the Fan Speed button on the interface or adjusting via the Blueair app.
How to Use Tips
Change Brightness:
Step 1: Press the Fan Speed button and ON/Standby button simultaneously. Hold for three seconds.
Step 2: Keep holding the ON/Standby button and tap the Fan Speed button with another finger to adjust brightness. If the brightness is at the lowest level, it increases by one level. If at the highest level, it decreases by one level.
Enable/disable Child Lock:
Long press the ON/Standby button for about 5 seconds (until all LEDs light up and blink once). Then release. When Child Lock is active, the purifier operates, but speed/mode buttons are locked.
Enable/disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth:
Wi-Fi is on by default. Long press the Fan Speed button for about 5 seconds (until all LEDs light up and blink once). Then release. When enabled, the Wi-Fi LED blinks. After successful app connection, the Wi-Fi LED stays solid. Wi-Fi LED off means the connection is disabled.
Filter Reset:
Extra long press the Fan Speed button for about 15 seconds (until all LEDs light up for the second time and blink once). Then release. After replacing the filter, manually reset the filter indicator. A successful reset shows the filter replacement indicator blinking three times before disappearing.
Factory Reset:
Extra long press the ON/Standby button for about 30 seconds (until all LEDs light up for the second time and blink four times). Then release. After factory reset, the air purifier restarts with default configuration and goes into Standby mode.
Connect to the Blueair App
Connecting to the Blueair app allows remote control and filter usage monitoring. The app offers additional functions.
Step 1: Download the Blueair app from the App Store or Google Play.
Step 2: Open the app. Create or sign into your Blueair account.
Step 3: Click on 'Connect Product' and select 'Blue Pure Max'. Follow the instructions to complete app pairing.
First Time Connection Tips:
- Ensure your air purifier is on. The Wi-Fi indicator blinking means it's ready for pairing.
- Bluetooth is required for first-time pairing. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and keep your phone within 3 feet (approx. 1 meter) of the air purifier.
- Keep your air purifier within 15 feet (approx. 4.5 meters) of your Wi-Fi router for optimal connection.
- Use a visible Wi-Fi network; hidden networks are not supported.
- VPN (Virtual Private Network) should be deactivated while using the Blueair App.
- This air purifier connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If using a dual-band router, select the 2.4GHz band.

Maintenance Information
Important! Turn the air purifier off and disconnect it from the power supply before maintenance.
Changing Your Filter:
When the filter indicator light turns red, it's time to change the main filter. This typically occurs between 6 to 9 months of operation, depending on usage and air quality conditions.
Steps:
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier. Rotate the top counter-clockwise to unlock, then lift to remove it.
- Remove the fabric pre-filter and the silencer.
- Use the filter handles to pull out the old filter and replace it with a new one. Ensure to remove the plastic wrapping before inserting the new filter.
- Place the silencer back on top of the filter. Pull the fabric pre-filter over the filter and silencer. Ensure the leather tag is on the upper side of the fabric pre-filter.
- Twist the top back on and plug in the air purifier.
- Turn the air purifier back on and reset the filter indicator by pressing the Fan Speed button for 15 seconds (until all LEDs light up for the second time and blink once). Then release.
Cleaning Your Washable Pre-filter:
Clean the pre-filter regularly when dusty. Vacuum the exterior fabric with a soft brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, wash according to the pre-filter's label instructions. Hang to dry.
Steps:
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier. Rotate the top counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the fabric pre-filter from the silencer and main filter.
- Wash according to instructions on the fabric pre-filter's label.
- Pull the clean pre-filter back over the silencer and main filter.
- Ensure the leather tab of the pre-filter is on the upper part.
- Push the top cylinder down and rotate it clockwise to lock it.
Disposal and Recycling:
This air purifier should be recycled as electronic waste. For disposal questions, contact your local waste management for the best recycling methods.
