VS41 Vehicle Specific Instructions
For use with RadioPRO ADVANCED in Select 2003-2006 Chevrolet / GMC Trucks and SUVs
Introduction & Features
The VS41 is an intelligent 4-camera switcher designed for controlling front, rear, and blind spot cameras. It integrates with PAC radio replacement interfaces.
Important Notes
- These instructions are for adding reverse, blind spot, and front cameras (or any combination) to an aftermarket radio in 2003-2006 GM Trucks / SUVs.
- Connect to the vehicle's analog turn signal wires and the GM1A reverse output trigger. Wire VS41 analog input triggers 1, 3, and 4 as instructed.
- Analog input trigger 2 (front camera) requires connection for manual activation via a toggle switch. Automatic activation via Class II Data-Bus commands can be configured using the RadioPRO PC application (see page 2).
- The VS41 provides a 150 mA 12v (+) reverse trigger output when any input trigger is activated.
- Video output defaults to Input 1 (ideal for rear camera) when no triggers are active.
- Input priority is in descending numerical order (e.g., Input 2 overrides Input 3 or 4).
- Ensure quality RCA connections to prevent poor video quality.
Wiring Connection Chart
This chart details the VS41 wiring. Any wire present on the VS41 that is not mentioned here WILL NOT be used in this application.

Expansion Port: The 10-pin plug connects to the GM1A interface.
Installation Steps
- Connect the 10-pin expansion plug to the GM1A interface.
- Wire all triggers and inputs as specified in the wiring chart.
- Refer to the diagrams for the location of turn signal wires.
- After connection, verify all cameras are functioning correctly. Front camera behavior can be configured using the RadioPRO app.
RadioPRO App Configuration
The RadioPRO App allows customization of the front camera's behavior. Connect the GM1A interface to a PC to access these settings. The GM1A does not need to be powered or installed in the vehicle for configuration.
