This document provides instructions for the installation of the AXIS TP3201-E Recessed Mount.

- 1x Recessed Mount Housing
- 1x Cover Ring
- 1x Cable Gland
- 1x Cut-out Template
- 1x 1/2" M20 Cable Gland
- 1x Ring
- 4x Screws
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Mounting Surface
Ensure the mounting surface can support a minimum weight of 6.5 kg (14 lb) and has a thickness between 10-30 mm (0.4-2.4 in). The cut-out diameter should be 200 mm (7.9 in).
Step 1.1: Cable Entry
The mount supports 1/2" (M20) and 3/4" (M25) cable entries. Select the appropriate entry for your cable.
Step 1.2: Attach Brackets
Attach the two mounting brackets to the recessed mount housing using two screws (T20). Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly for your installation.
Step 1.3: Insert Spacers
Insert the four spacers into the designated holes on the bottom of the recessed mount housing.
Step 1.4: Connect Cable
Route the network cable through the selected cable entry and connect it to the camera.
Step 1.5: Mount the Camera
Place the camera into the recessed mount housing and secure it using the four screws.
Step 1.6: Attach Cover Ring
Align the cover ring with the recessed mount housing and press down until it clicks into place.
Step 1.7: Final Assembly
Attach the cover ring to the recessed mount housing using the provided screws.
Step 2: Installing with AXIS M32-LVE and AXIS P32-LVE
Step 2.1: Disassemble Camera
Remove the outer casing of the AXIS M32-LVE or AXIS P32-LVE camera.
Step 2.2: Mount Camera to Housing
Place the camera assembly into the recessed mount housing.
Step 2.3: Secure Camera
Secure the camera to the housing using the four screws.
Step 2.4: Attach Cover Ring
Align and attach the cover ring to the housing.
Step 2.5: Final Attachment
Secure the cover ring with the provided screws.
Step 3: Installing with AXIS P3245-VE
Step 3.1: Disassemble Camera
Remove the outer casing and dome cover of the AXIS P3245-VE camera.
Step 3.2: Mount Camera to Housing
Place the camera assembly into the recessed mount housing.
Step 3.3: Secure Camera
Secure the camera to the housing using the four screws.
Step 3.4: Attach Cover Ring
Align and attach the cover ring to the housing.
Step 3.5: Final Attachment
Secure the cover ring with the provided screws.
Safety Information

- Note: Indicates useful information which helps in getting the most out of the product.
Safety Instructions
- The Axis product shall be used in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Store the Axis product in a dry and ventilated environment.
- Use only applicable tools when installing the Axis product. Using excessive force with power tools could cause damage to the product.
- Do not use chemicals, caustic agents, or aerosol cleaners.
- Use a clean cloth dampened with pure water for cleaning.
- Use only accessories that comply with the technical specification of your product. These can be provided by Axis or a third party. Axis recommends using Axis power source equipment compatible with your product.
- Use only spare parts provided by or recommended by Axis.
- Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact Axis support or your Axis reseller for service matters.
Transportation
- When transporting the Axis product, use the original packaging or equivalent to prevent damage to the product.
