Before You Begin: Assembling Your VEVOR Machine

• Remove the VEVOR die cutting machine from its packaging.
• With the machine facing you, remove the protective cap from the metal spindle on the right side.
• Place the handle onto the spindle and insert the screw. Tighten with an Allen key.
• Press the end plug over the screw.

Doing Cutting Projects

To create die-cut projects, follow these steps:

1. Place the 13mm white platform on a flat surface.
2. Cover it with the 5mm transparent adapter.
3. Place the cutting die on top, ensuring the cutting side faces up.
4. Place your paper or cardstock on top of the die.
5. Cover with a 3mm transparent cutting plate.
6. Arrange the stacked layers neatly and place them onto the base of the VEVOR machine.
7. Push the stack into the machine, rotating the handle as it moves to the opposite side.
8. Remove the plates to reveal your cut image. You may need to repeat this step for a cleaner cut, depending on the cardstock and die type.

For More Intricate Designs:

When using intricate die designs, you may need to add the 0.3mm transparent plastic sheet or extra layers of cardstock as a spacer shim. Experimentation may be required for best results.

Doing Embossing Projects

To create embossed projects, follow these steps:

1. Place the 13mm white platform on a flat surface.
2. Cover with a 3mm transparent cutting plate.
3. Place the embossing folder (with the material inside) on top.
4. Cover with another 3mm transparent cutting plate.
5. Arrange the stacked layers neatly and place them onto the base of the VEVOR machine.
6. Push the stack into the machine, rotating the handle as it moves to the opposite side.
7. Remove the plates to reveal your embossed image.

Usual Questions & Answers

1. Why does the transparent pad have traces once it is used?
   Plate warping can occur with die cutting and embossing, which is normal. Rotate and turn the plates each time you use them to distribute cut lines and prolong their life.
2. Can cutting dies from other brands fit this machine?
   The VEVOR machine is compatible with most manufacturers' embossing folders and dies.

• Children should be supervised when using the VEVOR machine. Keep dies away from children. This appliance is not intended for use by individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person. Ensure children do not play with this appliance; it is not a toy.
• Never force the sandwich into the VEVOR machine. If the movement feels too tight, stop and check that the sandwich is correctly assembled, with plates evenly lined up and centered within the machine's aperture. Forcing the machine or using an incorrect sandwich may cause damage and void the warranty.
• Clean the VEVOR machine with a slightly damp cloth only. Avoid harsh cleaning products or chemicals. Do not apply oil to any part of the mechanism. Do not immerse in water.
• Do not open any part of the VEVOR machine, as this will void your warranty.

Troubleshooting

If you experience poor cuts or embossing, try the following tips:

1. Ensure your layered sandwich of plates is correct.
2. After the stacked sandwich has emerged, reverse the handle rotation to cut/emboss a second time.
3. Move the die and partially cut cardstock to the edge of the plate before running it through the VEVOR machine again.
4. Add one or more shims of cardstock under the die/embossing folder to increase the sandwich thickness. Start with a single thin paper shim.
5. Consider changing the use of the transparent pad to its other side.
