Getting Started
- Charging the Battery: Recommended to charge for a minimum of 10 hours before first use. Charge in a cool place (+10°C to +30°C). Always charge indoors.
- Understanding the Unit: Familiarize with the weigh screen, buttons (Weigh, Zero, Mode, Power), indicators (Bluetooth, Battery charge), and connectors.
- Setup: Set the weight unit (kg/lbs) and select the weighing mode (Auto, Manual, Fine) based on operational needs.
Installation
The W-0 can be placed on a table or mounted using the supplied bracket. The bracket can be mounted on various surfaces. Ensure loadbars and platform are secured and clear of obstructions. Connect loadbar cables to the W-0.
Weighing Operations
The W-0 can be used independently or with the Gallagher Animal Performance mobile app for recording sessions. The guide details weighing animals in AUTO and Manual modes, and weighing small static loads in FINE mode.
The mobile app allows for live session recording, device control, and data synchronization to the Gallagher Animal Performance cloud software.
Care and Maintenance
The W-0 is designed for livestock environments. Proper care extends its life. Avoid extreme temperatures, liquids, and direct sunlight. Clean with a damp cloth. The lithium battery is not user-replaceable and requires professional service.
