How To Use

Connecting Steps

  1. Extend the solar blanket.
  2. Fold out the built-in stand.
  3. Point the solar cells towards the sun at the optimum angle.
  4. Connect the battery clamps onto your battery.
  5. Connect the solar controller to your battery using the Anderson plug on the opposite end of the battery clamps.
  6. Connect the solar blanket to the solar controller using the 5M extension lead if required.

Disconnecting Steps

  1. Disconnect the solar blanket from the solar controller.
  2. Disconnect the solar controller from the battery clamps.
  3. Disconnect the battery clamps from your battery.
  4. Fold up the solar blanket as shown in the folding steps.
  5. Store the accessories in the bag on the solar blanket.

Folding Steps

Follow these steps to fold the solar blanket for storage:

  1. Lay the solar blanket flat with the solar cells facing up.
  2. Fold the blanket in half lengthwise, bringing the two long edges together.
  3. Fold one of the long folded edges inwards by approximately one-third of the width.
  4. Fold the other long folded edge inwards to meet the first fold, creating a narrower, multi-layered strip.
  5. Fold this strip in half or thirds, depending on the desired final size, to create a compact package.
  6. Secure the folded blanket, often using integrated straps or a carrying bag.
