Product Overview
The STEGO SHC 071 IO-Link Sensor Hub is designed to capture measurement data from up to four external sensors. It supports sensors for temperature, air humidity, pressure, and light. The hub converts these measurements into IO-Link data, which are then transmitted via an IO-Link master to a higher-level control and monitoring system, such as a PLC or cloud-based platform.

Safety Instructions
- Installation must be performed by qualified electricians in compliance with national power supply guidelines (IEC 60364).
- The device must be powered by a SELV power supply unit conforming to relevant standards.
- Strictly adhere to the technical data specified on the rating plate.
- Do not operate the device if it shows signs of damage or malfunction. Dispose of the device in such cases.
- Do not make any changes or modifications to the device.
- The device must not be operated in an aggressive atmosphere.
- Operation is permitted only in environments ensuring contamination class 2 (or better) as per IEC 61010. This means only non-conductive contamination is allowed, though temporary conductivity due to condensation may occur.
Installation and Commissioning
- Connect to the M12 round plug (4-pin, A-coded).
- After installation, verify the assignment of input channels (1-4) to the connected sensors.
- Before commissioning the higher-level system, check the plausibility of the values from the connected sensors.
Maintenance and Disposal
- No maintenance or servicing measures are required for the device.
- Dispose of the device in an environmentally friendly manner according to applicable national regulations after its use.
IODD File and Parameter Description
- Download the IODD file from: www.stego-connect.com/software.
- Import the IODD file into your control software.
- Detailed information about the device and IODD parameters can be found on the STEGO website.
