Abloy DC347 Installation Instructions

Step 1: Mounting the Closer Body

Figure 1: Shows the DC347 closer body being mounted. Ensure correct orientation for left or right-hand doors (R/L).

Figure 2: Illustrates the mounting of the L197 arm. Note the different screw types and sizes required: M6x16 for the closer body, and M5x16 T25 for the arm attachment.

Step 2: Arm Installation

Figure 2a & 2b: Detail the installation of the arm onto the door and frame. The angle of the arm should be set between 110-180 degrees.

Step 3: Adjustments

Figure 3a & 3b: Show the adjustment screws for controlling the closing speed and latching action. Specific adjustments are indicated by numbers on the closer body.

Figure 4: Illustrates a 4mm adjustment for the arm.

Figure 5: Shows further arm adjustments with specific screw types.

Figure 6: Demonstrates another 4mm adjustment.
