Signal Strength Test: The device indicates signal strength. A low voltage level is noted as 2.45 V.
Installation Check: The diagram shows a test sequence with green checkmarks (✔️) and red crosses (❌) indicating successful and failed detection scenarios during alignment.
4. Installation
Follow these steps for installation:
- Check Signal Strength and Alignment: Ensure good signal strength and align the positioning line on the detector with the magnetic stick.
- Install the Detector:
- a. Mounting with screws.
- b. Mounting with sponge tape (note: this method may not be EN compliant).
- External Inputs (Optional): If external inputs are required, route the cable through the designated cable hole.
The device may have an indicator light that stays on for approximately 3 minutes during the installation or setup process.
Visual representation: Diagrams show the detector being mounted to a door/frame, with options for screws or tape. Another diagram shows the alignment process with checkmarks (✔️) for correct placement and crosses (❌) for incorrect placement.
