Declarations of Conformity

EU Declaration of Conformity

SALTO Systems S.L. declares that its access control equipment complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) and 2011/65/EU (RoHS). A copy of the original declaration of conformity is available at: https://www.saltosystems.com/certificate. This declaration is provided in multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, and Portuguese.

UKCA Declaration of Conformity

SALTO Systems S.L. declares that its access control equipment is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of The Radio Equipment Regulations 2017 and RoHS Regulation 2012. Mechanical Warnings

For optimal performance and durability, SALTO recommends using the electronic device in combination with a suitable lock and ensuring proper installation. Polished finishes are recommended for seaside environments. Avoid contact with sharp objects for Biocote and IA finishes. Handle the product with care during installation to prevent damage. Do not bring the device into contact with oil, paints, or acids. Do not paint the door with the lock or electronic device already mounted. For cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soapy water; avoid abrasive soaps or sprays.

Legal Warnings

Users are responsible for the correct use and maintenance of the access control equipment. SALTO is not responsible for any defects, malfunctions, losses, or damages resulting from improper installation or utilization, or any actions that contravene the provided instructions. SALTO's liability is limited to the warranty provided and does not cover failures due to unauthorized repairs, modifications, or product manipulations.

Regulatory Compliance Statements

FCC Compliance Statement [1]

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. If interference occurs, the user is encouraged to try to correct it by reorienting the antenna, increasing separation, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer or technician. This product is a radio transmitter and receiver for mobile use.

ISED Compliance Statement [2]

This device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to ICES-003.

In French: Le présent appareil est conforme aux CNR d'Industrie Canada applicables aux appareils radio exempts de licence. L'exploitation est autorisée aux deux conditions suivantes: (1) l'appareil ne doit pas produire de brouillage, et (2) l'utilisateur de l'appareil doit accepter tout brouillage radioélectrique subi, même si le brouillage est susceptible d'en compromettre le fonctionnement.

MIC Compliance Statement [3]

This device complies with FCC Rules Part 15 Class A, Japanese Zigbee standards, and EMC standards VCCI Class A. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device must not cause harmful radio interference, and (2) this device must withstand any radio interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This device complies with FCC Part 15 regulations for a Class A digital device, equivalent to Japanese VCCI Class A. These limits are designed to provide appropriate protection against radio interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial area. This device generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used according to the user's manual, it may cause interference to radio equipment. If harmful interference occurs in a residential area, the user is required to take corrective measures at their own expense.

NCC Warning Statement / NCC 警語要求 [5]

Low-power radio frequency devices that have obtained type approval are not permitted to alter frequency, increase power, or change original design characteristics and functions without approval from the company, firm, or user. The use of low-power radio frequency devices must not affect flight safety and interfere with legal communications. If interference is found, the device must be suspended immediately and improved until no interference occurs before continuing use. Legal communications refer to radio communications operated in accordance with the Telecommunications Management Act. Low-power radio frequency devices must tolerate interference from legal communications or from industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) radio frequency radiating electrical equipment.
