Key Safety Precautions

- Ensure proper ventilation if hydrogen gas may have accumulated in the hot-water system.
- Supervise children closely when the appliance is in use.
- Before discarding the appliance, remove the door to prevent entrapment.
- Do not reach into the appliance while the tub or agitator is in motion.
- Avoid installing or storing the appliance in weather-exposed areas.
- Do not tamper with controls or attempt unauthorized servicing.

Installation Requirements
- Ensure the appliance is properly grounded according to local codes and ordinances.
- Use at least two people to move and install the washer to prevent injury.
- Connect water inlet hoses securely and do not overtighten.
- Ensure the drain hose is properly attached and inserted no more than 4.5 inches into the standpipe.
- Connect to a grounded 3-prong outlet with a 120V, 60Hz AC supply, protected by a 15A or 20A fuse. Do not use adapters or extension cords.
Maintenance and Care
- Replace inlet hoses every 5 years to prevent failure.
- Use High Efficiency (HE) detergents and follow manufacturer's dosage instructions.
- Periodically use warm or hot water wash settings.
- Leave the washer door/lid open between uses to allow drying and prevent odors.
- For front-load models, periodically clean the interior window and door seal.
Seasonal and Storage Care
- For non-use or vacation periods, unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply.
- For winter storage, winterize the washer by shutting off water, disconnecting hoses, draining them, and adding RV antifreeze to the basket before running a short cycle.
- When transporting the washer, follow winterization steps if freezing temperatures are expected, disconnect hoses, and secure the power cord.
