Charging Instructions

The battery pack is not fully charged initially. Charge it using a USB Type-C cable connected to a power adapter or a computer's USB port, or by placing the device in a charging dock (single slot, 4-slot, vehicle, or 4-slot battery charger).

During charging, the charging LED indicator, located at the top right of the display, glows red. Once charging is complete, the LED turns solid green.

NOTE: The Memor 3X may become warm during charging, which is normal.

Installing SIM and SD Cards

To access the SIM/SD card slots:

  1. Turn off the Memor 3X or put it in swap battery mode (refer to the User's Manual for details).
  2. Press the battery latches and remove the battery pack.
  3. Remove the SIM/SD rubber cover.

Installing the SIM Card

  1. Slide the cardholder to the left and pull it up.
  2. Insert the SIM card with the written part upward. Push the cardholder down and then slide it to the right. (SIM card functionality is available only on SGVNR/SGVNRNA models).

Installing the SD Card

  1. Slide the cardholder to the left and pull it up.
  2. Insert the SD card into the cardholder as shown. Push the cardholder down and then slide it to the right.

Scanning and Imaging

To scan a barcode symbol:

  1. Point the scan window at the barcode from within the reading range.
  2. Press one of the scan triggers. The imager projects a laser aiming pattern.
  3. Center the symbol within the aiming pattern. Ensure the entire symbol is within the rectangular area formed by the brackets. Wait for the timeout or release the Scan Key to capture the image. A red beam illuminates the symbol, which is then captured and decoded.

Successful Scan Indicators:

  • If enabled, a good read beep sounds.
  • If enabled, the GreenSpot projects a green spot directly onto the barcode.
  • If enabled, the good read indicator at the top left of the display glows solid green.
