Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare the Player

Remove the four screws securing the player's cover. Lift the cover off.

Step 2: Access the M.2 Slot

Carefully lift the main board from the player chassis. The M.2 slot for the WiFi module is located on the underside of the board.

Step 3: Connect WiFi Antennas

Attach the two antenna cables to the WiFi module. Ensure the cables are connected to the correct ports (labeled 'a' and 'b' in the diagram) and that the connectors are seated at approximately a 20-degree angle.

Step 4: Install the WiFi Module

Insert the WiFi module into the M.2 slot on the main board. Secure the module with the provided screw.

Step 5: Connect Antenna Wires

Connect the antenna wires to the corresponding connectors on the main board. Ensure the connectors are properly aligned and pressed down firmly. Avoid bending the wires at sharp angles.

Step 6: Reassemble the Player

Place the main board back into the player chassis. Secure the main board with the four screws removed in Step 1.

Step 7: Attach External Antennas

Screw the two external WiFi antennas into the designated ports on the back of the player.

Step 8: Installation Complete

The WD105 WiFi module installation is now complete. A checkmark symbol indicates successful completion.
