Connecting to the Internet
To use the internet features, the machine must first be set up with WiFi.
- To access the WiFi settings, press the [WiFi icon] at the top of the screen.
- Select the appropriate WiFi signal and enter the password if required.
- Alternatively, press the "Hello Guest" button 10 times to enter the Maintenance Mode. Then, select "WiFi" to continue setting up your connection.
Updating the Software
Once connected to WiFi, you can check for and install any necessary updates to the equipment software.
To perform software updates:
- Tap the "Hello Guest" button 10 times.
- Select "Machine Setup".
- Select "Software".
- Complete any required updates.
Important Notes:
- A WiFi bandwidth of 1.5Mbps or greater per 4 units is recommended to ensure adequate bandwidth for streaming applications across multiple machines.
- For screen mirroring functionality, the machine and the user's phone must be connected to the same WiFi signal.
- To enable screen mirroring, the WiFi signal must be accessible to users, either by facilitating an open network or by providing the WiFi password to potential users.
Interface Descriptions
The machine interface provides access to various functions and settings.
Hello Guest Screen: This screen prompts for age and weight to help calculate more accurate results. It displays workout options such as "Fatburn", "Cardio", "Hill", "HIIT", and "Training", along with a "Media" button. The current time is "12:05", and user inputs show "30 years" and "155 lb". A "Start" button is prominently displayed.
Maintenance Mode Screen: This mode offers extensive machine configuration. Key sections include:
- About This Machine: Details like Type (e.g., Treadmill), Model (e.g., CT1000), Total Distance (305.8 km), Usage Restrictions, Total Time (79.5 hours), Pause Mode, and Auto Pause & Logout settings.
- Preferences: Allows adjustment of Beep sounds, GS Mode, Language, Data & Time, Units (Imperial/Metric), Video, and TV Settings.
- Machine Setup: Encompasses Club Information, various diagnostic tests (Key Test, NFC Test, Communication Test, Drive Motor Test, Incline Motor Test), Error Code Log, Sleep Mode, Retail On/Off, Protocol, Reset Odometer, WiFi configuration, Workout Time Limit, Display Brightness, Software, Firmware, Minimal Speed (km/h), App Manager, Customization options, Splash Screen Image, and Retail Mode Video.
- An "Exit" button is available to leave this mode.
