Product Overview

This document provides instructions for installing and using the Philips Hue Discover and Welcome outdoor lighting fixtures. These fixtures offer smart, wireless lighting solutions for your home.

The product is certified for use with Zigbee technology, enabling seamless integration with the Philips Hue ecosystem.

Safety and Installation Precautions

Installation Steps

Step 1: Mounting Preparation

Attach the mounting bracket to the desired surface (e.g., wall). Use the provided screws and anchors suitable for your wall material. Ensure the bracket is firmly secured.

Step 2: Attaching the Fixture

Align the main light fixture with the mounting bracket and connect them. Rotate the fixture until it securely locks into place, often with an audible click.

Step 3: Cable Entry Sealing

Ensure the cable entry point is properly sealed to maintain the fixture's weather resistance (IP44).

Step 4: Wiring Connections

Open the terminal compartment. Connect the power wires: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth (?). Insert the stripped ends of the wires into the appropriate terminals and secure them.

Step 5: Securing Connections

Verify that all wire connections are firm and correctly inserted into the terminal block.

Step 6: Cable Management and Closing

Route the power cable neatly and close the fixture's cover. Ensure it is properly seated and secured.

Step 7: Powering On

Once installation is complete, turn the power ON at the main circuit breaker.
