WHAT'S IN THE BOX

The 'What's in the Box' section displays illustrations of the key components: the main CleverChef appliance, its inner cooking pot, a steamer tray, a measuring scoop, and the appliance lid. It also states that the instruction manual is included and advises reading it carefully before first use for full product details.

PREPARING YOUR CLEVERCHEF

1. Open your CleverChef by pressing the button on the front.
2. Remove all items and the inner pot. Wash and dry the inner pot.
3. Wipe the inside of your CleverChef with a damp cloth. Place the inner pot back into your CleverChef.
4. Insert the power cord into the back of the unit. Slot the plug into a wall socket.

USING YOUR CLEVERCHEF

Turning your CleverChef on

When first turned on, the CleverChef will emit a [beep sound]. The display will show '-- --', and the START button will flash. If the inner pot is not present, 'POT' will be displayed.

Filling the inner pot

IMPORTANT: Remove the inner pot before filling. Liquid and ingredients must be between the 0.5 L and MAX marks. When cooking pasta or rice, which expand, fill only HALF the inner pot.

The inner pot is marked with volume indicators, starting from 0.5 L (equivalent to 1 Pint) and extending up to the MAX line, which is labeled as 3.0 L (equivalent to 5 Pint).

Selecting a cooking program

1. Press the MENU button repeatedly to select the desired program. 2. Press the START button to begin cooking. 3. After the cycle, the Keep Warm function activates. Press KEEP WARM/CANCEL to stop the Keep Warm process.

The document includes visual representations of the CleverChef control panel. These show the initial display state with '-- --' and a flashing START button, as well as examples of adjusting time and temperature using '+' and '-' buttons, selecting programs via the MENU button, and activating the DELAY TIMER function.

Adjusting the time

Press the TIME ADJUST button. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to change the time.

Adjusting the temperature

Press the TEMPERATURE ADJUST button. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to change the temperature.

Using the delay timer

Press the DELAY TIMER button (default 2 hours). Use '+' and '-' to set the time (up to 24 hours). Press START to begin the countdown.

Using the steam function

Fill the inner pot with at least 0.5 L of water. Place the steamer tray in the top of the inner pot. Add food to the steamer tray. Press MENU to select STEAM. Press KEEP WARM/CANCEL when finished.

Using the pasta & poach function

Fill the inner pot with at least 0.5 L of water. Press MENU to select PASTA or POACH. Press START. When the unit beeps, open the lid carefully (beware of steam), add ingredients to the inner pot, close the lid, and press START again. Press KEEP WARM/CANCEL when finished.
