Important Safety Information
General Precautions:
- Read and comprehend all instructions before operating, installing, or maintaining the machine.
- Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Failure to follow safety warnings can result in personal injury, death, or damage to the equipment.
Electrical Safety:
- Connect the equipment to a power grid through a circuit breaker with a sensitivity not exceeding 30 mA.
- Ensure the feed flow rate is suitable for the machine's power.
- The feeding water pressure must not exceed 3 BAR; use a pressure reduction valve if higher.
Water Supply:
- The appliance is NOT suitable for direct connection to the drinking water network without an anti-backflow device.
- Use a reinforced pipe with a diameter of at least Ø13mm (1/2 inch).
- Water passing through anti-backflow devices is not considered drinkable.
- Use only filtered or clean water.
- Ensure the water supply tap guarantees a flow rate equal to twice the maximum flow rate of the pump.
Safety Signs:
The manual uses specific symbols to indicate hazards, prohibitions, and obligations:
- Hazard Signs: Framed, triangular shape, indicating present or possible hazards (e.g., ⚠️ General Hazard, ⚠️ Explosion/Fire Hazard).
- Prohibition Signs: Circular with a diagonal cross, indicating actions to avoid (e.g., ? Do not operate with defective guards).
- Obligatory Safety Signs: Full circle, indicating important information to read and comply with (e.g., ℹ️ Read manual, ? Wear PPE).
Ignorance of or failure to heed signs and warnings may result in personal injury, death, or damage.
User Requirements:
- Operators must be physically and mentally capable of understanding and applying instructions.
- Do not operate the machine under the influence of alcohol or medication that impairs perception or reaction time.
Improper Use:
- Any use not described in this manual is considered improper.
- Prohibited actions include unauthorized modifications, failure to comply with safety instructions, and operations by unqualified personnel.
Environmental Conditions:
- Admissible operating temperatures: -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F).
- Range of relative humidity: 75% or less.
- The machine is not intended for environments with risk of fire or explosion.
Operating Procedures
The machine features a TSS (Total Stop System) that stops the motor automatically after a delay when the gun is released, and restarts it when the gun is opened.
Start-up:
- Ensure water supply is fully open.
- Turn the main switch to ON.
- If no pressure is detected within five seconds (indicating air in the system), the machine will stop. Reset by turning the switch OFF for 4 seconds, then ON again.
- Disengage gun safety lock.
- Squeeze the gun trigger to deliver pressurized water.
Stopping:
- Cold Water: Turn the main switch OFF, open the gun to release pressure, and engage the gun safety lock.
- Hot Water: Turn the boiler thermostat OFF, run with cold water for a few minutes to cool the boiler, then turn the main switch OFF, release pressure, and engage the gun safety lock.
Restarting: Follow the start-up procedure.
Shutdown:
- Cold Water: Close water supply, run to empty the machine, turn the main switch OFF, and unplug.
- Hot Water: Turn boiler thermostat OFF, run with cold water to cool, close water supply, run to empty, turn main switch OFF, and unplug.
Detergent Use:
- Open the detergent tap, activate the gun lever to draw detergent.
- Spray the surface, release the lever, and close the detergent tap.
- Activate the gun lever again to rinse.
- Note: Detergent delivery may continue briefly after closing the tap.
Do not spray detergent on hot surfaces and then rinse within the time recommended by the chemical manufacturer.
Maintenance
Routine maintenance should be performed at regular intervals. Always ensure the machine is switched off, the spark plug cable disconnected (if applicable), and the motor has cooled before performing any maintenance.
Routine Maintenance includes:
- Checking pump oil levels.
- Cleaning and greasing fittings and gaskets.
Dispose of used oil responsibly and in compliance with regulations. Never release substances into the environment.
Cleaning the Machine:
- Never clean electrical equipment with water or fluids.
- Use a clean brush or dry cloth for dust removal.
- Do not use alcohol, detergents, or solvents on plastic surfaces.
- Dispose of cleaning materials and residues responsibly.
- Clean using water or compressed air and soft cloths.
Wear PPE during cleaning operations.
Repairs and Extraordinary Maintenance:
- Contact an authorized repair shop for operations not covered by normal maintenance.
- Warranty may be void if manual instructions are not followed, maintenance is not performed, unqualified personnel perform repairs, or non-original spare parts are used.
Machine Storage:
- For long periods of non-use, protect raw parts with rust preventive oils.
- Clean the machine thoroughly.
- Seal in an opaque multi-layer black nylon bag with a desiccant.
Disposal:
- Dispose of the machine at the end of its working life through the local separate waste collection system, complying with current legislation (e.g., WAEE directives).
