Xfinity Wireless TV Box: Get Started
Setting Up Your Device
This guide will help you set up your Xfinity Wireless TV Box.
Included Components:
- Wireless TV Box: A compact, rectangular device designed for streaming.
- Voice Remote: A remote control requiring 2 AA batteries, featuring voice command capabilities.
- Power Adapter: Used to supply power to the TV Box.
- HDMI Cable: Connects the TV Box to your television.
Setup Instructions:
- Before you begin: Ensure your Xfinity Wireless Gateway is powered on and activated, and within range of your Streaming TV Box. A wired connection using an Ethernet cable (not included) is also an option. Remove any protective clear film from your devices. If you have a Primary TV Box, confirm it is also powered on and activated.
- Connect to TV: Secure the HDMI cable between your TV and the Wireless TV Box. Turn on your TV and select the appropriate HDMI Input.
- Power Up: Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet and connect the other end to the Power port on the Box. Once the power indicator lights up, the box is ready. Use only the supplied power adapter and avoid outlets controlled by dimmers.
- Activate Remote: Remove the pull tab from the back of the remote, aim it toward the Box, and wait for onscreen instructions.
Note: The billing for your new Xfinity service(s) will begin within 5 days from the date your order for service(s) is placed.
