Important Notes Before Installation

The screws required for attaching the catch to your window or window frames are not included. It is crucial to use screws that are compatible with the material of your window frames. If you are unsure about the correct type of screws, please consult a specialist hardware store.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Assemble Catch Mechanism

Take one catch unit and one mounting plate. Insert a washer onto a screw (10062153). Pass the screw through the mounting plate and into the catch unit. [hands] [tools: ?, ✏️]

Step 2: Attach Arm Component

Connect the arm component to the assembled catch unit. [hands]

Step 3: Secure Arm

Press the arm component firmly into the catch mechanism until it audibly clicks. "Click!" [hands]

Step 4: Position on Window Frame

Determine the installation location on the window frame. The recommended distance from the bottom of the window is approximately 14 cm (5 1/2 inches). Place the assembled catch unit against the frame. [hands]

Step 5: Mark Screw Holes

Use a pencil (✏️) to mark the screw hole positions on the window frame through the mounting plate. [hands]

Step 6: Install Base Bracket

Attach the base bracket to the window frame at the marked positions. [hands]

Step 7: Secure Base Bracket

Fasten the base bracket to the window frame using the provided screws (10062153). Ensure it is firmly attached. [hands]

Step 8: Mount Catch Unit

Align the catch unit with the base bracket and attach it. Secure the catch unit to the bracket with screws. [hands]

Step 9: Engage and Test

Close the window. The catch should engage automatically. Test the mechanism to ensure it functions correctly. ⬆️ [hands]
