This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the GlassOuse PRO, an assistive device designed to function as a head mouse and switch control interface.

The GlassOuse PRO is an assistive device that allows users to control their computers and other devices using head movements and external switches. It features a compact design with various connection ports and indicators.

Note: 'Devices' refers to mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and smart TVs to which GlassOuse connects and controls.

3. Switching Between Connected Devices

You can switch between connected devices using one of two methods:

NOTE: When connecting GlassOuse to a new device, it will disconnect from the previously connected device and switch to the new one. Ensure pairing and connecting with the selected Bluetooth 4.0 device.

4. Connecting GlassOuse Link as Mouse / Switch / Joystick Function

GlassOuse PRO can function as a Mouse, Switch, or Joystick, connecting as one function at a time to a single device. Each mode has a defined color code:

Functionality

5. Connecting G-Switches

GlassOuse PRO features four external switch ports for adaptive switches. These ports support both Mono 3.5mm and Stereo (Dual) 3.5mm switches. You can connect two switches with different commands to a single port for any active function (Mouse, Switch, or Joystick).

The Z-port can be used to 'Switch the device' or 'Switch the function', configurable via the GlassOuse App. The GlassOuse App can also be used to change switch functionality, or you can use the physical buttons.

6. Mouse, Switch and Joystick Functionality

Mouse Mode

When connected as a mouse, a cursor will appear on the screen, controlled by GlassOuse PRO movement. You can assign different functions (right-click, left-click, scroll, etc.) to connected assistive switches using the GlassOuse App.

To change the sensitivity of the mouse cursor:

  1. Long-press the C button until LED 2 shows a Yellow light.
  2. Press the C button once to cycle through sensitivity levels. Device sensitivity will adjust along the X-Y axis simultaneously.

Switch Mode

In Switch mode, GlassOuse PRO acts as an external switch for features like Switch Control (Switch Access) or other compatible switch control software. Its gyroscope allows for four-directional movement (left, right, top, bottom) to be assigned as external motion switches with custom functions.

External assistive switches can be assigned different buttons via the GlassOuse App. Activating the assistive switch connected to the Y-port will show or hide the on-screen keyboard.

Joystick Mode

You can use GlassOuse PRO in Joystick mode to play games that support joystick functionality. You can define joystick functions (e.g., A, B, C, D, R1) for external assistive switch buttons using the GlassOuse App.

Power and App Management

7. Power

The GlassOuse PRO enters Power Saving mode after 15 seconds of inactivity, indicated by all indicator lights turning off. After 3 minutes of standby, it enters Sleep mode. To wake the device, press any button.

8. Reset

To reset the device to its default settings, long-press the D button and the Power Button simultaneously for 3 seconds.

9. GlassOuse App

Connect GlassOuse PRO to your device where the app is installed. Log in with your credentials or create an account, then select the connected GlassOuse PRO in the app.

Adjust the sensitivity for Mouse, Keyboard, or Joystick within the app:

9.3 Energy Saving Mode

Enable this option in the app to save battery life and use the GlassOuse PRO for longer on a single charge.

9.4 Reset to Factory Setting

This option allows you to reset the device to its default factory settings.
