Install Battery

  1. Use a proper tool, such as a coin, to loosen the battery cover.
  2. Install the battery with the "+" side upward, ensuring it is under the metal connector. The battery type is CR2450.
  3. Replace the cover and tighten it.

Note: Do not remove the battery while the logger is running. Please change it when necessary.

Install Software

  1. Visit www.elitechus.com/download/software or www.elitechonline.co.uk/software to download the software.
  2. Double-click the downloaded zip file and follow the on-screen prompts to install.
  3. Once installation is complete, the ElitechLog software will be ready for use.

If necessary, disable your firewall or close your antivirus software.

Start/Stop Logger

  1. Connect the logger to a computer to synchronize its time or configure parameters as needed.
  2. Press and hold the button to start the logger until a [running indicator] appears. The logger will then begin recording.
  3. Press and release the button to cycle through different display interfaces.
  4. Press and hold the button to stop the logger until a [stop indicator] appears. The logger will cease recording.

Note: All recorded data is protected for security reasons and cannot be altered.

Configure Software

The ElitechLog software facilitates several operations:

  • Download Data: The software automatically accesses the logger and downloads recorded data to your computer when connected. If not, manually click "Download Data".
  • Filter Data: Under the "Graph" tab, click "Filter Data" to select and view data within a specific time range.
  • Export Data: Click "Export Data" to save your data in Excel or PDF format.
  • Configure Options: Set logger time, log interval, start delay, high/low limits, date/time format, email alerts, and more. Refer to the User Manual for default parameters.

Important Note: Applying new configurations will reset any previously recorded data. Ensure all necessary data is backed up before applying new settings.

Troubleshooting

If...Please...
Only a few data points were logged.Check whether the battery is installed correctly.
The logger does not log after startup.Check whether the start delay is enabled in the software configuration.
The logger cannot stop logging.Check parameter settings to see if button customization is enabled (default configuration is disabled).
