Why is the Bluetooth connection unstable sometimes?
Case | Reasons | Workarounds |
---|---|---|
Case 1 | Using earbuds near devices that emit radio waves like personal computers, Wi-Fi routers, microwave ovens, or refrigerators. The earbuds may be affected by these radio waves in environments with multiple overlapping radio signals. | Please use the earbuds away from Wi-Fi routers, personal computers, microwave ovens, refrigerators, etc., to avoid radio wave interference. |
Case 2 | Using the Bluetooth device in a chest pocket, pants pocket, or bag while listening to audio. If the device is diagonally positioned relative to the earbuds, it can affect the Bluetooth signal. The human body is a significant source of signal blocking. | When placing the Bluetooth device in a pocket or bag, move it to a location where there are no obstacles (like the human body) between the device and the earbuds for optimal Bluetooth communication. |
Case 3 | Using the earbuds close to other Bluetooth devices. The earbuds may be affected by radio waves in locations with a mixture of multiple radio waves. | Turn off the Bluetooth function of other Bluetooth devices. |
Case 4 | Using the device away from the earbuds, such as in a different room. Bluetooth communication weakens with distance. When using earbuds and a player in different rooms with doors closed, communication may be weak. | Keep the Bluetooth earbuds as close to the Bluetooth player as possible. |
Case 5 | Running many applications simultaneously when using the Bluetooth function. | Quit unused applications on the device to reduce the load. |
What can I do if the earbuds stopped connecting to my device?
- Clear the pairing record between the earbuds and all previous devices.
- Try clearing some Bluetooth listings on your device and restart the device.
- Put the earbuds into the charging case to reset them.
- Close the case lid and reopen it to activate the earbuds. Then, activate Bluetooth on your device and choose "SOUNDPEATS Air3 Deluxe HS" to connect.
What can I do if the left earbud and the right earbud won't work together?
- Gently clean the charging connectors with a bit of light sandpaper or a microfiber cloth with rubbing alcohol to ensure the earbuds charge properly.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case to reset them.
What can I do if the earbuds connect to my phone, but not my MacBook/computer?
- Unpair the earbuds from your phone. This will cause the earbuds to lose their Bluetooth connection to the phone.
- Put the earbuds into the charging case to reset them.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your MacBook/computer and attempt to connect.
- If the issue persists, you may need to update your computer's Bluetooth driver. Bluetooth drivers are typically provided by the specific manufacturer for your exact computer model. Download and install the appropriate Bluetooth driver from the computer vendor's website, then restart your system before attempting to pair and connect to your SoundPEATS earbuds.
Sound
Why does the volume of the earbuds reduce after using them for a period?
- The sound hole might be blocked by foreign objects. Gently clean it with a little alcohol to remove dust or secretions.
- Try using other devices to see if the problem persists.
What can I do if one earbud is quieter than the other?
- Try different songs or videos, as some may have unstable sound effects.
- Try using other devices. You can follow this process:
- UNPAIR and delete the earbuds from your original device.
- Pair them to a new device and play music.
- UNPAIR and delete them from the new device.
- Pair them back with the original device.
- Reset the earbuds.
- Adjust the "Audio Equalizer" settings on your phone:
- For iPhone: Go to [General] > [Accessibility] > [Hearing].
- For Android: Go to [Accessibility features] > [Accessibility] > [Audio balance].
Why can't the other side hear me when I'm calling?
- Ensure you select the option to pick up phone calls via the earbuds.
- Do not mute the phone calls.
- Clean the microphone holes to prevent blockage from dust or secretions.
- Adjust the volume through both the earbuds and your device.
- If using with an Android phone, check the settings to ensure both phone audio and media audio are allowed to be transmitted through the earbuds.
- Try using other devices to see if the issue resolves.
Note: Each earbud has two microphones: one for calls and one for noise collection. During a call, only the microphone used by the primary earbud for the call and noise reduction will be active. You can use both earbuds together. If you wish to use only one earbud for a call, place the other earbud in the charging case or turn it off.
Charging
What does the indicator on the charging case indicate?
The indicator shows the remaining battery power in the charging case:
- 50% - 100%: Green
- 10% - 49%: Yellow
- 10% or less: Red
While charging the case, the indicator flashes slowly:
- 0% - 19%: Red
- 20% - 69%: Yellow
- 70% - 99%: Green
- 100%: Green LED stays on
How to charge the charging case?
- Use a Type-C adapter to charge the case (current should not exceed 1A).
- If the earbuds and charging cases will not be used for a long time, please charge them at least once every 3 months.
What should I do if the charging case won't charge?
Try using a different, known-working charging cable to charge the case for more than 10 hours via your computer. As headphones are low-power products compared to other electronics, please do not use a fast charger for charging safety.
What can I do if an earbud stopped charging?
Place each earbud one by one into the charging case. You should see the case light flash white once separately, indicating the earbuds are entering the charging status. If no light flashes, use a microfiber cloth with rubbing alcohol to clean the charging connectors. Adjust the earbuds to ensure the light flashes once when placed back into the charging case. Then, charge the earbuds for 2 hours.
Warm tip: Be careful not to press the earbuds too hard in the charging case to avoid damaging the copper charging pillars.
Why are the earbuds still connecting to my phone after placing them back and closing the case lid?
- The charging case may have no remaining power. Placing the earbuds back into the charging case cannot turn them off if the case battery is dead.
- Ensure the earbuds are correctly placed in the charging case and that the charging contacts are clean. Clean the area between the charging case and the earbuds with a microfiber cloth.
Touch Control
What can I do if the touch controls are not always working?
- Touch the middle of the control zone. Touch controls may not work when your hands are wet; keep your hands dry.
- Try skipping songs multiple times to find the optimal frequency for controlling the earbuds. If you cannot find this frequency, you might think the earbuds are not working; please be patient.
- Another method to try: discharge the earbuds completely, then charge and reset them.
