This guide provides essential information for using your ViewSonic MPP 2.0 Active Pen.

ViewSonic MPP 2.0 Active Pen Instructions and Precautions
Product Description: Quick Guide / Length 120mm, Width 200mm, 25mm 8-fold page.
Pilot Lamp & Buttons: The pen features a pilot lamp, a pen tip, and two buttons.
Instructions:
- Activation & Charging: Please charge the pen for approximately one minute to activate and wake it up for first-time use. If the pen is not charged initially, it will remain in shipping mode and will not function properly.
- LED Indicator Status:
- Battery Below 20%: Steady red light.
- Charging (to 80%): Flashing red light.
- Charging Complete: Steady blue light.
- MPP 2.0 Active Pen Battery Level:
- When the battery level drops below 20%, the red light stays on continuously.
- After two minutes of inactivity, the pen enters sleep mode, and the red light turns off.
- When reactivated, the red light stays on continuously for another two minutes.
- Pen Usage:
- Activation: Press the button or pen tip. The blue light remains on for 5 seconds after activation.
- Charging: A solid red light indicates low battery. Attach the pen to the charging dock. The red light flashes during charging and turns solid blue when fully charged. A flashing blue light on the charging seat indicates the pen is not placed correctly; a flashing red light indicates normal charging.
- Key Functions: Upper Button: Box selection. Lower Button: Eraser.
- Sleep Mode: The pen automatically enters sleep mode after 2 minutes of inactivity.
- Compatibility: Designed for use with Windows systems.

Precautions
- Do not store the product in high-temperature or humid environments to avoid performance issues.
- If not in use for an extended period, turn off the pen and recharge it periodically to prolong its lifespan.
- Use only the designated charging dock. Do not use other charging equipment.
- Apply light pressure on the screen during use to avoid damage.

Battery Notice & Safety Precautions
To prevent the possibility of the battery from leaking, overheating, or causing fire, please observe the following precautions:
- Do not immerse the battery in water or seawater.
- Do not use or leave the battery near a heat source such as a fire or heater.
- Do not reverse the positive and negative terminals.
- Do not discard the battery into a fire or other heat source.
- Do not short-circuit the battery by directly connecting the positive and negative terminals with other metal objects such as wire.
- Do not use or leave the battery in extremely hot conditions (e.g., in direct sunlight or a vehicle), otherwise, it can overheat, cause a fire, or its performance will degrade and its service life will be shortened.
- If the battery leaks and the electrolyte gets into the eyes, do not rub the eyes. Immediately rinse the eyes with clean, running water and seek medical attention. Otherwise, eye injury can result.
- If the battery gives off an odor, generates heat, becomes discolored or deformed, or in any way appears abnormal during use, recharging, or storage, immediately remove it from the device and stop using it.
- In the case the battery's terminals are dirty, clean the terminals with a dry cloth before use. Otherwise, power or charge failure may occur due to the poor connection with the device.
- Use the battery with only the accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- This product has no parts which can be repaired by the user. Any damage caused by the user's own disassembly is not covered by warranty. Repair operations should be performed by qualified professionals.
- There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Discard used batteries according to the battery manufacturer's instructions.
