This document provides a quick guide for the X88 PRO 13 Ultra HD 8K media player. Please note that product parameters may change without prior notice.

Device Information
The X88 PRO 13 features several ports for connectivity:

Setup Diagram
To set up your device:
- Connect the X88 PRO 13 to your TV using the provided HDMI cable.
- Connect the Power Adapter to the STB and plug it into a power outlet.
- For a wired internet connection, connect the Router to the LAN port of the STB using an Ethernet cable.
Initial Setup Wizard
Upon first boot, the device will guide you through a setup wizard.

Welcome. Please choose your system language. The device supports multiple languages, including:

The setup process involves the following steps: 1. Language → 2. Screen Zoom → 3. WiFi → 4. Launcher → 5. Area selection. Complete these steps to access the main interface.

Switching Applications
Navigate the user interface to manage your applications. Click "My Apps" to view recently used programs. Click on a program icon to switch applications arbitrarily. The main screen typically displays categories such as Home, Movie, TV Show, Apps, and Library.
Network Connectivity
Wi-Fi Function
- From the Home Screen, navigate to SETTINGS → Network → Select "Wi-Fi" to enable the Wi-Fi function.
- Choose your desired Wi-Fi Hotspot, input the password, and connect to the network.
Ethernet Function
- From the Home Screen, navigate to SETTINGS → Network → Select "Ethernet" to enable the Ethernet function.
- Insert the network cable into the LAN port; the network will connect automatically.
File Browser
Access the "File browser" to manage your files. Press OK to enter the device list. When a USB device or SD/SDHC/MMC card is inserted, a "Device is mounting" message will appear on the screen. You can cut, copy, paste, and move files and folders between the local disk and external storage cards.
Read TF card: Insert a TF card into the device while it is powered on. When an icon [TF Card Icon] appears in the top-left corner of the desktop, open "File Browser". The identified External Storage Card will be listed under "Local Disk", and TF card operations will be available.
Troubleshooting and Warnings
Warning: Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the TV BOX yourself, as this will invalidate the warranty. Do not open the TV BOX due to the risk of electric shock. If a fault occurs, first check the points listed below before seeking repair. If the problem cannot be resolved, consult your dealer for assistance.

No power | - Check if the power adapter is properly connected to the power source and the TV BOX. - Press the power button on the remote controller to turn on the power. |
No picture | - Re-connect using the HDTV cable or AV cable. - Check if the TV is switched on. |
No sound or distorted sound | - Adjust the volume. - Check if the speakers are connected correctly. - Check the digital connections. - Check if your amplifier is set correctly. |
No audio or digital output | - Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the TV BOX. - Reduce the distance between the remote and the TV BOX. - Replace the batteries in the remote control. |
The player does not respond to the Remote Control | - Operations may not be permitted. Refer to the user manual. - The system may be halted; re-insert the power adapter to restart. |
Player does not respond to some operating commands during playback | - The audio codec may not be supported by the TV BOX. You can change to a supported audio format in the playback menu. - Check the volume. |
No sound during movies playback | - The USB flash drive format may not be compatible with the box. If a USB drive cannot be read, turn off the TV BOX for 30 seconds and then restart it. |
The contents of the USB flash drive cannot be read | - Large file sizes or high-resolution USB flash drives may take longer to read and display on the TV screen. - Check the connection between the TV and the HDTV jack of the box. - Check your TV system setup. - Check the volume. |
Slow operation of the USB flash drive | - Turn off your TV BOX, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it on again. - If using an HDTV connection, ensure the HDTV connection is correct or try a different HDTV cable. Set the output resolution of this TV BOX to 720p. |
No sound with HDTV connection | - (Solution is identical to 'TV screen is blank' issue) - Turn off your TV BOX, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it on again.
